Tuesday morning feel good stories

| November 21, 2017

From Malibu, California;

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies say all this began at about 1:45 this morning … when a homeowner found a burglar at a house up in the Ventura county section of Malibu.

The homeowner tells Fox 11 news that he went outside with a handgun to confront the burglar.

But there was a struggle and the burglar ended up with the handgun … firing three shots at the homeowner.

As the burglar drove off in a pickup truck … the homeowner went inside to get a 12 gauge shotgun … and the chase was on … two pickup trucks and guns blazing.

East on PCH into Malibu … with the bad guy leaning out the window to fire shots at the pursuing homeowner.

At the Zuma Beach lifeguard headquarters … the bad guy slammed on the brakes … and the homeowners’s pickup truck was smashed.

The bad guy kept going … he turned up Busch Drive and crash his pick up into a recreational vehicle parked on the side.

The burglar then drove off on all-terrain vehicle … which had been in the bed of the pickup truck.

The burglar … the A T V … and the handgun are all missing.

The L- A County sheriff sent out a helicopter and there was a big manhunt.

All of this was reported by Fox 11 … which broke this story.

The Kalifornica incident was stoopid. Probably misquoting from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, but here goes, “If you’re going to shoot, shoot, don’t talk.”
The homeowner shouldn’t have come out to confront the thief, he should have come out to shoot the thief.

Amen. The big mistake was LEAVING THE HOUSE. STAY IN THE HOUSE AND CALL 911, STUPID! Don’t people EVER think with the big head any more?

Bobo

If the gun owner in California is representative of Californians as a whole, I suggest that California make gun ownership even more difficult.

Wow, that Malibu story… so much FAIL…

I kept imagining a banjo playing during the Malibu story.

Or “Yakkity Sax” from the Benny Hill show…

Is that the song they would play while someone was being chased by one or two people, but by the end had half the town chasing them?

Thank God I was born and raised in Texas, and had the good fortune to remain here.

If I never see California, I won’t cry – although the redwoods would be kinda cool, I suppose.

On the downside, the border is getting more and more dangerous. God bless and protect our Border Patrol.

Graybeard, sadly it looks as if two Border Patrol Agents near Texas were ambushed by illegal immigrants and were bashed with rocks. One died. The other is in critical condition.

Graybeard

I know.

Just remember, Our Betters assure us that illegal immigrants are what make us great.

I’m wondering how it would play out if the resident Texans in that region were to conclude that any illegal immigrant they caught on their land was a threat to their lives, and took appropriate action, claiming self-defense?

Before I get slammed – I have, in the past, worked alongside many “wetbacks” who followed the laws otherwise, and were only trying to feed their families in a very 3rd-world area called Mexico. Men and women who worked hard and just wanted a chance to help their families. But with the rise of los narcros, there are too many coming who do not fit that profile.

Reports today say thy can’t rule out that the agents simply walked over the edge of the arroyo. The read one obviously ain’t talking and the remaining one remembers nothing. The attack story was a theory someone suggested, not established fact
