Friday morning feel good stories

From Placentia, California;

Three men in dark clothing and Halloween masks, armed with guns, entered and robbed a residence in the 300 block of Twilight Street before taking off on foot, according to a spokesperson for the Placentia Police Department.

“As the suspects were fleeing the residence, one of the victims chased them, and a struggle ensued,” resulting in the victim stabbing one of the suspects multiple times in the back, investigators said in a press release.

Officials said the suspect was treated at the scene on Primrose Avenue and transported to UCI Medical Center in critical but stable condition.

The two other suspects had initially fled, but later returned in a vehicle, which was identified by a victim and stopped by officers near Chapman Avenue and the 57 Freeway.

From Albany, New York;

A person wanted for a September armed robbery has been arrested after getting shot during an argument just after midnight Wednesday.

Police say that Sapp and another man got into an argument about a relationship, went outside of the Avalon Avenue resident and shots were fired.

Albany police were looking for Joseph Sapp since a September 17 armed robbery on Burke Avenue and found him suffering from gunshot wounds not far from where the shooting is said to have occurred.

From Omaha, Nebraska;

A witness told responding officers that a man, later identified as Juan Armand, 33, entered the business and pulled a handgun. That witness then drew a gun of his own, shot Armand and held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

Armand was taken to the hospital for treatment. Initial reports indicated he suffered a shoulder wound and a mouth injury.

From Dallas, Texas;

One armed robber is at large and a second man was hospitalized after his cohort dumped him out of the getaway car following a shootout Wednesday night in Oak Cliff, police said.

Police responded to a shooting call about 11:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Marsalis Avenue. The victim told police two men demanded his property and shot at him.

Another group then fired at the robbers, wounding at least one of them as they fled, police said.

“…after his cohort dumped him out of the getaway car…”

That’s low, even for a felon.

“….suffered…..a mouth injury”.

That’s what you get for shooting your mouth off.

Three men, wearing Halloween masks, on Twilight Street…. this story lurks in the shadows, waiting to spring out on the unaware soul out searching for a lost pussycat with a flashlight. And do not ask me why the cat had a flashlight. Cats do whatever they want to. There was no full moon on Halloween this year.

‘his cohort dumped him out of the getaway car….’ Hmmm… a cohort is made up of six centuries, each of which holds 100 troops, and comprising one tenth of a Legion. I did not know you could get that many people into a getaway car. I must look into this.
Einstein might have something to say about the energy being stored in that car with that many centuries, and the side effects upon release of it when all 600 troops poured out of that getaway car.

Kinda like when they describe someone as getting decimated!

We had some equal opportunity action west of Great Falls MT when a woman was shot and killed while breaking into a house last night.
