Wednesday morning feel good stories
From Pinetop, Arizona;
According to the FBI, an armored car was making a courier stop in front of the casino in Pinetop around 10 a.m. when a man approached the cash carrier.
Authorities say the suspect sprayed the cash carrier with a chemical irritant.
The cash carrier then drew her weapon and fired, hitting the suspect and killing him, according to the FBI.
From Milwaukee, Wisconsin;
Police said a 51-year-old man was walking in the Jackson Park neighborhood when the robber hit him in the head.
Neighbors said the man told them he had been at an ATM up the street, and he had just withdrawn cash. He was walking home when the robber attacked.
“He was obviously following him from the bank because he knew he had money on him,” McFatridge said.
The robber’s weapon was a rock. It was the victim who had the gun.
“Hit the guy with a rock in his head, and the guy who got hit with the rock fired,” said Gina Sarabia, McFatridge’s mother.
“He didn’t expect that guy to have a gun,” Sarabia said.
The robber got away. A neighbor spotted a woman in a getaway car and gave police the license plate number.
From Archuleta County, Colorado;
[Don Nix, 71] told authorities he noticed someone with a flashlight walking around the entrance of his neighbor’s property. Nix approached [Gary] Phipps and the two had an “unproductive conversation” about Phipp’s reason for being on the property, the news release said.
Nix then told Phipps that the Sheriff’s Office was on the way, and Phipps pulled out a knife and attacked Nix.
Nix told authorities both men struggled and fell to the ground. Nix said he hit Phipps with a flashlight hoping that he would release the knife. But when that was unsuccessful, Nix pulled out his gun and shot Phipps multiple times.
A pronouncement of death was made at 9:25 a.m. Thursday. Archuleta County Coroner Dan Keuning found the official cause of death to be “homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.”

LOL; “unproductive conversation”
Nix: “Hey you, get the fuck away from there!”
Phipps: “Fuck you!” Pulls knife.
Nix: Swings flashlight; pulls gun; bang, bang, bang.
End Conversation.
They should attach autopsy photos with the story.
Justifiable “homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.”
Nice grouping.

“sprayed the cash carrier with a chemical irritant. The cash carrier then drew her weapon and fired”
Well, I guess the irritant worked as advertised.

Good job by the truck messenger. I wonder what is the name of the company. Most likely a 2 person crew. When I started out in 1970,NYC, it was Brink’s,(U.S. Trucking Brink’s merger) Wells Fargo and Cross Armoured. Great until the industry was deregulated and that meant anyone could start up a company which lead to 2 man crews (no women on the trucks in those days) and the big 3 losing a lot of accounts because it was cheaper to use a 2 man crew Vs’s a 3 man crew unless you went down to 2 man crew to be able to compete. We also had a union which we lost in court to the Carter appointed Judges. Had something to do with that we were involved in the transportation of money and valuables where we were using trucks to transport the material. The court considered us bank guards and should not be in a teamster union. We were Teamster local 807 at the time of our demise. Looking back, without the union, the company gave us a 401K plan and better raises. Got a number of suspensions but never fired. Retired in 2007 with 37 years on the trucks. Hope I did not bore anyone but I love to make a short story long.
I love short long stories!
Scumbags ate a lotta lead for dinner. Just desserts 😉
