Monday morning feel good stories
From Riverton,Utah, Derek Palmer, 36 was acting a fool at a friend’s house. The friend tried to get the inebriated sot into an Uber, but the driver was having no part of it. So Palmer did the next best thing – he took his pants off and started following teenagers into their garage where their father stopped him;
The father heard what was happening, grabbed his gun, and went to the garage.
“He states that he got in front of the male, later identified as Derek Palmer, and pushed him away. Palmer kept coming back at him, he kept pushing him away. When the male would not leave, (the father) took him to the ground and put him in a headlock,” the warrant states.
When Palmer got back up, he again challenged the father, questioning whether the gun was even loaded.
“(The homeowner) stated that he chambered a round into the gun at this point to show that it was loaded. Palmer then pulled out a knife and asked him if he would shoot him if he stabbed (the man) with the knife. (The homeowner) replied that he would,” according to the warrant.
Palmer then threw it in the direction of the father and continued to walk toward him. The homeowner “was able to knock him down a couple more times, (but) Palmer kept getting up and advancing toward him,” the warrant states.
When Darris Ellis “backed up as far as he could and Palmer refused to stay down on the ground, he shot him,” according to the affidavit.
Palmer was shot twice. When Unified police officers arrived, they say Palmer attempted to grab the gun that was now lying on a container in the garage. An officer saw what he was doing and moved the weapon, but Palmer wouldn’t stop, court records state.
“Multiple commands were given to Palmer to stop what he was doing and get on the ground. Palmer did not respond to the commands. (An officer) deployed his Taser, hitting Palmer,” the warrant states. The officer deployed a Taser on Palmer a second time when he again got up and allegedly tried to get the gun. He appeared to be readying to make a third attempt, police say, until an officer warned him that another Taser would be deployed.

Remember, kids……. drugs are bad, mkay?
And according to the linked article, no charges have been filed against Palmer.
Libtard justice system at work?
Not in Riverton.
Probably just waiting for Monday for him to sober up enough before he shows up in front of the judge for a bail hearing.
This incident happened on June 20th and as of this past Thursday, July 13th, no charges have yet been filed.
So again I say, libtard justice system at work?
Why did the homeowner not keep his weapon secure? C’mon dude you can do better than that.
And fuck all that knocking him down over and over and “backing up until you can’t back up anymore.”
I did not know that being completely skunked made you immune to Tasers and stuff.
Yes but only briefly. I have a relative who took a taser to the torso and went down, got up, pulled it out, and started aggressively approaching the three LEOs. The second taser put him down along with some shit in his drawers.
He is lucky they were nice enough to take him again instead of putting lead in him.
Taser him again
Out of curiosity, when they deploy a taser, do they scream “taser, taser, taser” like we scream “OC, OC, OC” when we’re doing the lovely OC training course?
I forgot what that course was called… it’s the one where they OC you and you have to go though and defend yourself with a baton against a bunch of guys with shields…
Friday night at All Points Logistics?
or is that “Oops, I slipped Saturday”?
It’s Navy ATFP training:

They have funny videos on YouTube.
I think that All Points Logistics is too chicken shit to OC themselves, however, they probably offer the training. After all, Monkess is an expert at all things security, he was a SEAL that did red cell missions after all.
Should be required reading for all the anti-gun libs who think the most you ever need for defense is pepper spray or a Taser. Neither of them is a 100% stopper. A good sized HP between the eyes is, however, extremely reliable.
I don’t know. Every one should own a Lash Larue bull whip so just like lash, they can wrap the whip around the perps gun hand and pull it away. Works all the time when you watch Lash Larue westerns on tv.
