From Lancaster, Pennsylvania;

The woman’s husband, who was upstairs sleeping, heard the commotion, got his handgun and and confronted [William Louis Stewart, 46,] who was advancing with a piece of wood, police said.

The man then shot the intruder once in the chest after which the woman called 911.

Stewart was taken to the hospital for treatment of what police described as non-life threatening injuries. Stewart is being charged with burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief and will be arraigned at a later time.

From Gloucester Township, New Jersey;

On May 21, [Dante] Robinson entered a home on Kay Lane with a gun and demanded money from the residents, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

He allegedly assaulted a victim, using his hands and also hitting them in the head and face with the gun, and pushed a 9-year-old to the ground, police said.

Robinson was shot by the homeowner during the robbery and was arrested on May 22.

Robinson survived the gun fight and he’s being charged with burglary, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful possession of a rifle or shotgun and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
