Randolph D. Alles named as Director of Secret Service
The Washington Post reports that President Trump has named retired USMC General Randolph D. Alles to be the new director of the Secret Service.
Alles spent 35 years in the Marines before retiring in 2011, according to the White House. He comes to the Secret Service after serving in several roles with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, most recently being appointed acting deputy commissioner on Jan. 20, the day President Trump took office. Alles has also led the Air and Marine Operations division of the customs agency, which has more than 1,000 agents, according to the agency’s website.
Alles is taking over the Secret Services after they’ve been criticized for leadership problems over the past several years from Colombian hookers to White House intruders.
President Trump’s appointment of former soldiers and Marines to head some of his critical agencies reflects the public’s view that members of the military offer the best chance for reform of a government that has been dysfunctional for decades.

Is that the sound of the swamp being drained I hear?
I was hoping for the SKADOOOCH of a toilet… but this is just as good.
I’d prefer to hear a rumbling *WHOOOOOOSH!* akin to what I heard when I visited the Kentucky Dam every time they refilled the lock for boats and barges in transit but things take time in DC.
That giant sucking noise that you usually hear coming out of WDC may shut off before long, even if Duckworth can’t keep her beak from flapping in front of a TV camera.
Yep, thats great..but the swamp will not be drained with RINO’s are in the republican party, clean out Ryan, McConnell and a few others, then start on the communists in the dumocrap party! imho
There is no way you could interpret what Trump is doing as draining the swamp.
Boom.
Trump’s chief of staff: “The president is considering you for an appointment.”
Alles: “I’m all ears.”
Trump’s chief of staff: “I see that.”
OK, you earned this.
I believe early in his Marine Corps career he served on a plane… as the AWACS… with just his ears.
I wouldn’t mention that within his hearing. He can probably freeze you in place, turn you into a permanent ice sculpture.
With those antenna dishes, he probably did.
He has what was commonly referred to as “TROPO ears” in my former line of work.

Well chit. That didn’t work as planned. Scroll through the gallery, you’ll know it when you see it. Putting myself in timeout.

Mr. Alles received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1976 and his Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 1999. His squadron (VMFA-312) was awarded the 1997 Robert M. Hanson Award for Marine Corps Fighter Attack Squadron of the Year. His military honors include the
Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal with Oak Leaf cluster,
the Legion of Merit with Combat V and Gold Star, the Meritorious Service Medal with
Gold Star, the Air Medal with strike/flight numeral 3, and the Navy Commendation
Medal with Gold Star.’
He deserves a hell of a lot more respect than he is getting here!!!
If there are no hooker scandals for eight years I’d call this appointment a solid win…changing a culture isn’t always a quick and easy fix though. Here’s hoping he gets it done.
Putting all of these Marine generals in high positions is going to cost taxpayers a bundle if the government pays for their two road guards and someone to count Cadence. Now if they would either increase the height of the White House fence or simply shoot every dumbass that jumps it, an on-going problem would be solved.
Shoot ’em? That’s okay. They need the target practice.
Animal, another Ag. WHOOP!
I saw that. Global domination plans are moving right along.
Mountain Climbers ready begin`
Did anyone else notice that all 100 Senators took the bus over to the White House today, to hear about Norkiland?
Does this make them Trump’s beck-and-call peeps? (snerrrk!)
No two ways about it, after eight years of the oblowme administration, Trump is hiring all the right people instead of the ones that serve as the best doormat or knob polishers for them.
If there is anyone who knows how to deal with drunken subordinates getting in trouble with hookers it is going to be a USMC Officer.

Someone better figure on doing something about those marxist clubs er “unions” a lot of fed employees belong to.
What exactly do you believe that federal labor unions do? I suspect it’s not what you think.
