From Ilion, New York, 1 DRT, one incarcerated;

The homeowner, James M. Richards, suffered injuries to his head and extremities during the Dec. 7 incident at 39 Richfield St., police said.

Dasean Chastine, 24, of Kennedy Plaza, Utica, was identified as an intruder and was found deceased lying in the driveway.

Ilion police said the deceased intruder was armed with a handgun.

The homeowner was treated and released from a local hospital.

James Pugliese was arraigned and sent to Herkimer County jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond, police report.

Folks should carry their gun when they go to the ATM in Macon, Georgia;

According to a Bibb County sheriff’s report, the man who was robbed, a 46-year-old from west Macon, had withdrawn $100 from the bank’s ATM when he sensed someone behind him.

Then, the sheriff’s report noted, he heard someone say, “Get him!”

The man’s wallet, with the $100 in it, was stolen in the mugging, and the two culprits dashed north toward Ridge Avenue.

Meanwhile, the victim raced to his truck and retrieved his Beretta 92FS handgun, the sheriff’s report added, and “while at his truck, (the victim) saw one of the suspects come back from where he originally fled. (The victim) grabbed his gun and began chasing the suspect. … (He) fired three rounds at the suspect. It is unknown if the suspect was struck.

Another DRT in Little Rock, Arkansas;

The victims told police [18-year-old Alexander Reed] arrived at the apartment with an unknown man Tuesday night, and the stranger let two other men into the home, according to a news release. Once inside, of the men pulled out a handgun and said, “This is a robbery,” officials said.

As the gunman started shooting, Muller told police he took out his handgun and returned fire.

“Obviously … you do have the right to defend yourself,” [Police Department spokesman Lt. Steve McClanahan] said.

During the exchange, Reed was fatally struck and he died at the scene. Authorities were later notified of a Pine Bluff man, 21-year-old Alvin Chaffin, being treated at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in that city for a gunshot wound to his hand. After talking with witnesses, investigators were able to link Chaffin to the shooting and they believe he is one of the men who was with Reed, police said.

I like it when they go all DRT!

Every DRT means one less punk goblin being fed, clothed and housed at taxpayer expense.

DaSean……so much potential

The time to have your weapon is at the ATM in the first place! Always be prepared, expect the worse and be ready. I never go to an outside ATM or after dark. Then you are just asking for trouble.

“Obviously you do have the right to defend yourself”

I just wonder about the last guy being let into a house and then robbed…
Drug deal gone bad maybe???
If so, the guy ain’t out of the woods yet.
At least the other dead one won’t be harassing anyone else, ever, again…

ALVO

Failure to reconnoiter prior to exposing ones ass to a hail of bullets….and getting just deserves.
