Larry Morgan Brown, Fake Navy SEAL, Fake Navy Chief
The people at militaryphony.com have sent us their case on Larry Brown. Several of the awards he had on made some people question his military service.
You can view his official FOIA records over at their site. It is difficult to know exactly where to begin pointing out all of his embellishments.
Larry Brown has perfectly honorable service according to his records. However, he was never a Navy SEAL and as we all know now, is not a Chief Petty Officer. There is so much to be said about what is wrong with all of his claims, I will leave it up to the rest of you to hash it out. Larry should have been proud of his actual service…he had every reason to be.

Cocksucker.
“Brown Eye”‘s Facebook page (link on militaryphony) is wide open for comments.
gourd…just look at some of his pics and comments. Most decorated Sailor….soooo many war stories….but they’re classified, yanno. Looks like a digital cammo clown in another one
Classified, but he can yammer on incessantly about them on Facebook. Figures.
Before he lets you access his Facebook page, he has you sign a Non Disclosure Agreement.
I posted two comments and poof, scrubbed and blocked.
Same same. Page one of the poser handbook, turning to page two. Lawyer threats coming no doubt.
Just waiting for the wife or war buddy to pop in here to defend his honor.
Yep, candy-ass cocksucker.
Oh dang, I went to his page and asked how he felt about Stolen Valor and can you believe it, he BLOCKED me!!
Don’t know why, all I did was include a link to here.
wellll..fuck…just………..fuck
Well I’ll be…
Probably the first time I ever saw an Ocean Systems Technician patch in real life. Did that get abolished or merged into something else?
“On November 26, 1969, the Secretary of Navy approved the establishment of the Ocean Systems Technician rating (OT). Originally designed as a general rating with its Sailors both operating and maintaining the sonar equipment at naval facilities, the increasingly complex nature of the equipment meant that, in 1982, two service ratings were established: Analyst and Maintainer.
On October 1, 1998, Sailors serving as Ocean System Technicians were merged into the Sonar Technician rating.”

Oyster Trainers.
Oyster Trainer. Lol. Haven’t heard that term in years. OTA1 Larry Brown, USN (Ret) is no SEAL, nor was he a Commanding Officer Ahore! I was an OT3-OTAC (1973-1982) before commissioning as an LDO where I continued to serve in that system as an O1E to O5. Never heard of Larry Brown. If we had a SEAL in the OT community I would know about him. We did not. I served in that community for 26 years and I’m the Director of the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS) Alumni Association.
I was an OT right after they split the rate, used to be stationed at NavFac Centerville Beach in the middle 80’s before Al Gore invented the internet. Yes that was my rate patch, no I was not a Chief. Didn’t make E5 in the canoe club, had to join the Army to get there.Never met OTA1 Brown, but did try to drink Humbolt County dry once or twice.
OT merged with ST back in the late 1990’s. I knew a few who worked over on Ford Island.
The OTC over there was a complete dick, but hey. That’s what happens when you never have to go to sea.
He’s quite puffy and soft and probably has more folds than a flock of origami geese. SEAL? I really don’t think so.
a whole career and somehow managed to never even earn a sea service deployment ribbon…wow
staring into an SLQ screen for so long has evidently given him dain bramage and a hefty dose of regret
He does have a NDSM x2.
muhahahahaha
Yup. Never saw a single assignment starting with “USS”, although it looks like he did shore duty out of CONUS somewhere.
I noticed no sea duty too. How is that even possible in the Navy? He probably passed on the billets hence he was never a Chief…then he shits on 20 years with SEAL lies…what a zero!
Did someone open up a can of phony SEALs today?
Several of our investigators are Navy SEALS, we generally only post the phonies that are too daft to clean up their act when they are confronted about it.
Question for any former Navy personnel.
What is the “OTAC” before “Brown” on his name tag stand for. His rank? Is it normal to have your rank on your name tag in the Navy?
I believe it’s Ocean Systems Technician Analyst, Chief Petty Officer.
And my nametags just had a squadron emblem and my last name.
Ocean Systems Technician Chief but he was really an OTA1 not OTAC.
I think there was an OTM, for Ocean Systems Technician, Maintenance, too.
Correct, analyst and maintainer.
“Often Taken As Clown”?
It must be SEAL season. I can never find my baby seal club when I need it?
Maybe a dingo ate your baby seal.
No the dingo’s eat the left overs after I skin ’em. I mean, the little fellers just come right up to you. Dumb as a bunch of stolen valor posers they are.
BMC Red Forman says what a Dumbass this turd is.
He had an older Facebook page. People called him out on it cause he left the comments wide open.
So he created a new Facebook page (also with wide open comments) and then friended himself back to the old page.
So now he has two FB pages that people are still calling him out on.
All the comments are still alive and kicking on both pages.
The cocksucker blocked me.
My comment lasted about 6 minutes.
…which is 6 minutes longer than he was a Chief or spent at sea.
But hey, he did 2 years in Yoko, which is…aw, shit. I got nuthin.
Yeah, it was expensive as fuck there, but could have been Guam, Diego Garcia, etc.
Must have been hell, having to go out on the Honch and pay 1000 yen for a stick dog and chu-hi.
Dammit man! Why did you have to mention chu-hi’s! I’ve been dying for a grape or apple chu-hi for over 15 years.
Ok, someone help me out. How common is it for a person in the Navy to spend an entire career and retire without any sea time? I have always thought you had to serve some time at sea during your hitch especially if it was that long
Certain ratings for sure NC recruiters, P3 guys are all shore based, TACAMO guys all shore. Definitely possible??⚓
My coworker is a retired SeaBee, never been on ship.
A SSDR can be earned in any number of ways that don’t involve being on a ship.
A SeaBee that flies to Iraq on deployment and stays at least 90 days would earn a SSDR.
My time as ship company counts as Sea Service…my FMF time similarly counts for Sea Service
(though the Sea Service Counter on an LES clicks differently depending on the duties and command type, but that’s a whole different issue)
OT’s were rotated on a preferred/neutral/arduous basis rather than a sea/shore rotation. So quite a few retired without ever being attached to a seagoing command that would allow them to accrue sea time and draw sea pay. That’s just one sacrifice we made as OT’s. There weren’t as many billets available with TASS/VP/SURTASS(deployable) commands as there were at NAVFAC/RTF/COSL/COSP/NOPF(fixed-shore) commands.
Okay, when I was in the Navy, back in them there olden times, WAVES didn’t have sea duty because we were all shore duty pukes. Nurses on hospital ships weren’t WAVES, so they don’t count in this.
So, yes, it is possible for someone to have nothing but shore duty, but that was, as I said, back in them there olden times, and considering that he was in a rate that should have had him aboard some seagoing pig somewhere, he must have finagled his way out of sea duty.
That Chief’s uniform and rating badge sure do look purty, don’t they? I wonder how many times he took and failed the CPO test, or had scores to low for him to pass.
Considering he was forced to convert from TD to OTA, failing the CPO exam, or just not getting past the board, is a distinct possibility.
Damn near impossible, which might explain why a lot of the rates that traditionally didn’t go to sea merged with rates that did.
But again, there’s always exceptions.
OT, and several other rates were not sea going billets, usually. OT’ s did their thing on land from a fixed location. I would say more,b but I would have to kill any reader.
I read his entry, and we were both at NavFac Centerville Beach I was there Oct 84-Dec86, when I PCS to another NavFac. I was OTA3 Moody, and do not remember OTA1 Brown, could have been in a different section, we didn’t mix due to work hours, and I also lived off base at that time.
I can confirm the trident in the waves is a real rate insignia, but obsolete. After my ETS, they were a sorbed into other ratings.
Ocean System Tech was a shore based billet. You didn’t go to sea unless you were lucky enough to spend a few months in Yokohama. But that was by special request.
The Navy had a TD rate, Tradevman, who specialized in maintaining flight simulators and such. They also never went to sea. I knew a TD1 who spent his entire career onboard NAS Jacksonville, FL. He sported a NDSM and four Navy Good Conduct awards on his chest. The rate was merged with ATs in the mid-80’s, and the orders were pretty much, “You pick the numbers, we’ll pick the color.”
Meaning haze gray and under weigh.
Care to decipher that for us Airborne dummies?
Meant that he was going to go to sea duty no matter what after all that time ashore. The most he could hope for was to pick which carrier he got assigned to.
I’d never begrudge honorable service. My main point is contrasting his Former Action Guy(FAG)claims, but he lacks the appropriate rating, no Combat Action Ribbon, and not even a Sea Service ribbon.
Some folks serve honorably without earning one…some of us, due to the nature of our jobs deploy routinely. Choose your rate, choose your fate.
Hell, all that crap below his shooting ribbons look like those ceremonial shits you can buy from Medals of America to fluff your stack and feel important.
Kinda telling that he got ONE NAM during his entire career, most likely a retirement award.
I know that the Navy is stingy with personal awards, but not THAT stingy.
He was made an Honorary Chief Petty Valor Thief (Special Education) by Daniel Bernath.
oh…grrrrrrrrrr
Jeezuz, another ass hamster on the loose, claiming Navy SEAL and CPO…. WRONG ON BOTH COUNTS!
LARRY MORGAN BROWN – STOLEN VALOR ASS HAMSTER!
“LARRY MORGAN BROWN – STOLEN VALOR ASS HAMSTER!”
I see that as an insult to Hamsters, IMHO it’s more like “LARRY MORGAN BROWN – STOLEN VALOR ASS GERBIL!”
Richard Gere is looking for his gerbil…ole Larry has it!
One of his email addresses is: bad2bone22@hotmail.com
You can’t make that up.
Larry – Go get your bad ass squared away.
that’s just kinda pathetic
Just messaged him on Facebook encouraging him to do the Christian thing (he seems to think himself a godly man) and come clean and live honest.
He banished me to hades after I posted on his FB.
I guess this peter-puffer tells everyone that the gold “command ashore” badge (gold trident with wreath) represents his “greatness” as an OTAC.
Hell, it kinda looks like the rating insignia on his phony assed CPO sleeve insignia.
BTW, for the non-Navy types, the gold Command Ashore badge is for Officers in command of a shore-based activity.
I think he just has fetish for tridents. Command Ashore, SEAL, OTA…see the pattern?
Otherwise lovingly known as the shrimp fork
The Coast Guard calls their Marine Safety Insignia the “shrimp fork” as well.
24 hours and still no “lawer” threats?
Maybe Bernath is busy with his own shit.
Some people realize that when they are caught bullshitting, it really isn’t wise to threaten those who called “Bullshit!” He strikes me as the whimper and whine type: “Please take that down. Please! (sob) And I will sin no more. Please!(sob)”
Ain’t no phony like an old ass phony!
OTA1 Larry Brown, USN (Ret) is no SEAL, nor was he a Commanding Officer Ashore! I was an OT3-OTAC (1974-1982) before commissioning as an LDO. I continued to serve in that system as an O1E to O5 (1982-2001). Never heard of Larry Brown. If we had a SEAL in the OT community I would know about him. We did not. I served in that community for 27 years and I’m the Director of the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS) Alumni Association.
CAPT Jim Donovan, USN (Ret)”
Thank you Captain. Larry Brown is in fact, a lying cocksucker.
