Tuesday morning feel good stories
Tom Cusimano was watching television in his Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home when he heard Quinn Rose break in the back door. When Cusimano’s room mate went to check on the disturbance, he found Cusimano on top of Rose. The room mate fetched their gun and held Rose until police arrived.
A convenience store clerk in Springfield, Massachusetts took a cut-down rifle away from two crooks and chased them out of his store.
In Tawas City, Michigan, two masked and armed criminals forced their way into the home of a 66-year-old man. He shot them both with a rifle. A 21-year-old was still wearing his mask when police arrived and declared him DRT (dead right there). The 29-year-old was taken to the hospital and he’s expected to survive. The homeowner was uninjured.
Thomas Allen Linder, 44 and John Michael O’beil, 32 forced their way into the home of 78-year old Sabra Elaine Stiehl in Newnan, Georgia, who, when she heard the noise, loaded her 9mm Browning Hi-Power pistol. She confronted the pair and as soon as they saw the handiwork of John Browning, they turned and scurried off, driven away by Anne Renee Deadman, 49. Police caught up with the trio thanks to observant neighbors.
Deputy First Class Dean Bardes, a 12-year-veteran of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office got into a physical altercation with a criminal in Estero, Florida after a high speed chase. A legally armed passerby, after ordering the criminal to stop beating on the deputy, shot the fellow three times. He was DRT (dead right there) and the officer wasn’t shot.

You’d think that, with Bartley-Fox and FID cards, gun crime in Massachusetts would be almost zero. I’m guessing that, knowing first hand that it is essentially impossible for anyone in Springfield/Holyoke to get a pistol permit, there was no way in Hell that the clerk would have been able to get a weapon other than by taking the one away from the criminals.
The rogue Amish on a crime spree in Taxachuseets.
It is also just about impossible for the criminals to get an SBR in Mass. So how did they get it? Maura Healey is making it so hard for Criminals….I mean law-abiding citizens to get guns that this should not be !!!! I am getting the Vapors!!!! I need my Safe Space!!!
21 year old in Michigan was a let trick or treater.
Happy to see that even those who don’t actually have a personal weapon can defend themselves by disarming the perp who brings one to them.
I think the two ladies in Georgia are very, very smart.
well, technically though the P35 is called a Browning, much of its design is due to Saive more than Browning. Either way…it’s arguably the most used military pistol in history and adopted by far more countries than the 1911. It’s always nice to see the old girl ticking along doing what she was intended to do.
The second schmoo from Tawas City was airlifted to a hospital, probably in Saginaw. Sounds like the homeowner put all of his rounds in either the 9 or 10 ring.
Range time payoff.
