5 attempts to rob people, and 5 bad guys wounded by legally armed citizens. Is it really worth your life to try to take what belongs to others? I feel that everything I own is essential to my quality of life. If you try to take anything, I will consider it as a threat on that quality of life and will defend myself. It is that simple. Don’t take from others and you won’t be risking your useless life.

Great sigh at the local gun store- “Nothing here is worth your life.”

AW1Ed

sign, dammit.

A College friend who was a fellow Gun Enthusiast had stickers on the door and windows of his house with a skull and crossbones with the slogan “THERE IS NOTHING IN HERE WORTH YOUR LIFE”. I so wish I could find a few!

Here ya go, API! No skull and crossbones, but it does get the idea across.

Meanwhile, the armed attacks on unarmed citizens in Chicago continue unabated.

But they have strict gun control. How can that be????? /sarc

B Woodman

Damn, the thieves are getting preemptive. To little avail.

Without further fanfare, here’s today’s TAH “armed citizen batting line analysis”.

Today we had a total of seven perps. Of those perps, 5 are now recovering from a high-speed lead body piercing under unsanitary field conditions; the remaining 2 are uninjured, but in police custody. None of the attempted crimes were successful, and no armed citizens appear to have been injured.

In baseball parlance, that’s 7 ABs with 5 extra-base hits and 2 singles – or a 7-for-7 day with a slugging percentage of at least 1.714. That’s damned impressive; most any major league player would take that any day of the week, even if there were no HRs.

Silentium Est Aureum

My favorite?

“This homeowner armed three nights a week. You guess which three.”

Duane

My favorite is still
“My watchdog travels 985 feet per second – can you?”

Bobo

Because of the time of night, the resident took his gun to answer the door.

Regardless of the time of night, if you knock on my door unexpectedly, and if I chose to answer, there will be a handgun involved. You might not know it, but it will be there.
