Wednesday morning feel good stories
Homeowners, a husband, a wife and a pre-teen child, in Indianapolis, Indiana were forced to protect themselves when an intruder forced his way into their home. The intruder was DRT (dead right there) when the police arrived.
In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three men wearing masks and hoodies forced their way into a home. The resident ran them off with a gun. When they got outside, one of the criminals pointed a BB gun at the resident, the man shot the thief and the crook was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. The other two are probably still running.
In St Louis, Missouri, a man waiting for his girlfriend got in a gun fight with a carjacker. He sustained a gun shot wound to his leg, but it looks like he tagged the thief, too, who left his own firearm at the scene. Another article confirms that the carjacker showed up at the hospital, too. A third suspect fled after dropping him off.
A clerk in New Orleans, Louisiana decided that one robbery a night is enough. After giving up the money for one armed crook, a convenience store clerk fired at a thief when they were the victims later the same evening. it doesn’t look like anyone was injured, though. At another link, they confirm that the thief was caught and charged with both robberies. His mother turned him in after she saw the news report which included the security camera footage.
A resident in Salem, Oregon frightened off an armed intruder with a shot from his own gun. Police aren’t sure if he was struck by the bullet or not.

So, what I want to know, who pulled the trigger that rendered the perp “rigor mortis” at the scene? Papa Bear? Mama Bear? Or Baby bear?

Fortunately, he now won’t be able to pass his Stoopid Genes on to another generation. The Gene Pool is now a little bit cleaner.
I’m betting that the DOT yute probably has procreated at least once, if he’s over the age of 12.
But, at least the police narrowed down the search, the two remaining perps are described as “black males wearing hoodies”.
This past Friday, while stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, I had an idiot try and drive through my vehicle to change from the 3rd lane to the first lane. After failing to do so, he later pulled alongside me threatening to kill me. When he went to exit his vehicle with what appeared to be a weapon in hand, I introduced him to Mr. S&W .45. Took him a second or two to realize the error of his ways, and he screwed away.
I only drew it because he was raging so hard, and appeared to be intent on inflicting harm on me. I had nowhere to go. Don’t back me into a corner. Politicians, stop trying to take away my right to defend myself!
We had an unfortunate incident that began less than 3 miles from my home recently, where an elderly woman was stabbed to death, her daughter seriously wounded, and their car stolen by a man who went and continued his spree at a mall nearby. His life was ended by an off duty Sherriff Deputy, just after stabbing a man to death who was trying to keep him from killing a waitress. You just never know when some asshole is going to snap, and that is why D.C., New Jersey, California, and even my home state that make it so difficult to possess firearms need to unf*ck themselves. Nope, we want to discuss bathrooms instead…
While looking for these “good news” stories, I have to troll through hundreds of “feel bad” stories. Many of them are road rage tragedies, like yours. Only they don’t end as well as yours.
