McAuliffe is target of FBI investigation
Here’s a surprise, a Clintonista, the carpetbagger governor of Virginia from Syracuse, is the subject of an investigation being conducted by the FBI and the Justice Department according to CNN. This won’t surprise you either; it involves Chinese money that may have been donated to his gubernatorial campaign;
Among the McAuliffe donations that drew the interest of the investigators was $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, through his U.S. businesses. Wang was previously delegate to China’s National People’s Congress, the country’s ceremonial legislature.
“Neither the Governor nor his former campaign has knowledge of this matter, but as reported, contributions to the campaign from Mr. Wang were completely lawful,” said Elias.
It has a 90s feel to it doesn’t it?

The good news is that the investigation extends beyond Wang and CNN says it doesn’t know what other matters are being investigated but that there are other matters. What I found most interesting (actually, infuriating) in the CNN story was that the Chinaman is legally permitted to contribute to candidates for US office because he’s a “permanent resident.” WTF is that? He can’t vote but he can contribute bucks to influence elections? He’s GD Chinese and a former member of the National People’s Congress. Cripes. Double cripes. Yeah, it may be legal because we know who wrote the freakin’ law but it isn’t close to be right in my book.
This is why its so difficult to do any kind of campaign finance reform. The same people who make money off campaign finance are the same ones getting re-elected with that money and worry about job security.

That was the story in WaPo over the weekend.
The Secretary of the Commonwealth informed the governor that restoration of “justice involved individual’s” civil rights included ALL rights including the right to possess firearms.
The response from the governor was “That wasn’t what I intended.”
Apparently it went from a 5 step individual application to have rights restored to a 2-3 step mass approval process. And it’s not pick and choose which rights, it’s all or nothing.
I’m still trying to figure out how or why in the hell people in Virginia would have voted for that P.O.S. In the first place anybody hanging with the Obummer White House and billery is a automatic NO-GO !!!!!!

SCoTUS would have to rule that assuming the office of the president following the incapacitation of the president would be a 12th amendment violation despite the fact that he would not be “elected” to a third term. Since the provision that prevents him from being eligible to be president says he cannot be “elected” to a third term. it does not say he cannot had a third term.
So we do not know for sure if he eligible.
And we will never know because he will not be the VP.
