Wednesday morning feel good stories
Nicholas Keagle and Cody Ray in Antrim County, Michigan were helping themselves to the contents of a victim’s refrigerator when the homeowner confronted them. Okert fled at a high rate of speed while his partner decided to engage in an altercation. The victim headbutted Keagle and broke his nose. Then the victim grabbed Keagle’s phone and called the police who rolled up on the pair.
67-year-old Ronald Murphy, in Memphis, Tennessee, caught Melvin Pollard, 45 stealing his air conditioning unit, so he fired a couple of shots at him. Pollard tried to escape in his pickup, but he sideswiped two cars and his ride stalled, so he leaped out and tried to get away on foot. Murphy tried to shoot Pollard again, but his gun jammed, so he pistol-whipped the thief instead. Murphy turned the gun over to officers who arrived on the scene. They arrested Pollard for theft and they arrested Murphy for aggravated assault.
In Riverview, Florida, 24-year-old Joel Alberto Torres tried to rob a man behind a liquor store. When the man explained that he had nothing to steal, the criminal forced him in through a back door of the liquor store. Inside the back office, Torres confronted the owner and the owner’s son. The owner, a licensed gun owner, plugged Torres multiple times. Torres was declared DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. No one else was injured.

Re #2, I’d be aggravated and assaultive too. Memphis brings a whole new meaning to humid.
While it is legal to shoot them when they are coming at you, it is seldom legal to shoot them as they are leaving. Two rounds, center mass beats slinging lead towards a fleeing junkie.
God Bless Texas!

You raid my fridge in the middle of the night, I’ll headbutt you, too. The nerve!
I don’t care how many quiches I have in the fridge, if you want quiches, ask nicely or received a headbutt.
A butthead with a cast iron Dutch oven should have excellent stopping power.
Re: #3 Multiple wounds and he lived as far as the hospital. Range time and a larger caliber. I know things get excited in a gun battle but composure is everything.
