Thursday morning feel good stories
Bobo sends a link to the story from Cleveland, Ohio where two fellows tried to rob a convenience store. A passerby saw the events unfold and notified a nearby cop. The thieves saw the cop when they got ready to leave and ran to the back of the store. A customer grabbed the clerk’s gun and convinced the robbers to surrender.
In San Antonio, Texas, two fellows found themselves in a reverse-home-invasion situation where they went to visit a friend. He was not a morning person – when he was awakened, he pulled two guns on the pair, tied them up and began beating them. At some point he left one of his guns in the room and went in another room of the house. One of his former friends freed himself, got the gun and plugged their tormentor. Then the friend left the home and called the police. The wounded fellow is expected to live, but he’ll probably have to look for other friends.
In Jackson, Mississippi, Milton Grant stole a Black Acura from Christopher White. White found his car at another convenience store and proceeded to take his car back from Grant by the use of superior firepower. White fled the scene in his own car and later turned himself into the police station where he remains charged with one count of aggravated assault. Grant is still in critical condition and charged with auto theft.

I guess that in Jackson, Mississippi, #BlackCarsMatter…..
So, in San Antonio, it was simply a misunderstanding. I think those ‘friends’ need to find new friends.

So much wrong in San Antonio. . Yeah, I think those two sets o f friends need to separate and find new friends.
All things considered, as the 7th largest city in the US, Slammintonio ain’t doing too bad. I look at my fair city as being a lot like a self-cleaning oven.
Go Spurs!!
I didn’t know you were from San Antonio. I’m just up the road in Fredericksburg at the National Museum of the Pacific War. If you come up, ask for me at the desk, if I’m not too busy I’ll be happy to show you around.
I appreciate the invite. We do meander up your way every once in a while. I’ll be sure to look you up.
Been there a few times. I like the tour especially the sail to the USS Pintado-SS 387. The town is also a crossroad to attractions in the area.

And in Australia a guy found a convicted rapist in his daughter’s room, beat the snot out of him, and is charged with murder. Yeah, that’s that Australian system Hillary likes so much…
