Tuesday morning feel good stories
In Little Rock, Arkansas, an off-duty police officer wounded a fellow who forced his way into her home. He was treated and released from the hospital into the waiting arms of the police officer’s pals.
Three off-duty officers in Vista, California, tried to stop a brawl at 7-11. One of the participants tried to run over the three officers, struck one and ran over another while the third pumped two rounds into the driver. He’s expected to recover. The officers weren’t seriously injured.
In Des Plaines, Illinois, a 16-year-old tried to rob a convenience store at gunpoint. That plan failed when the clerk pulled out his own gun and blasted away at the thief. It appears that the clerk missed his target, but junior is in custody.
In Peoria, Illinois, two house sitters were accosted by an intruder. When the armed thief struck the woman with his shotgun, her boyfriend took the shotgun away from the intruder and ran him off. You should always have your own weapon and you can’t depend on the criminals to bring you one.
A similar story happened in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio. Three fellows forced their way into a home and the homeowner confronted them. One of the thieves put the barrel of his shotgun in the homeowner’s face. He pushed the barrel away and the gun discharged striking one of the thieves in the face. So, one is in the hospital, one was arrested, and one is still on the run.

Great stories!!
When your fellow criminal shoots you in the face, is that considered reaching base due to infielder’s choice?
I bet he’s collecting workman’s comp.
I love happy endings.
