Friday morning feel good stories

| March 25, 2016

On Tuesday morning in Cleveland, Ohio, a man sitting in his truck was accosted by an armed thief. The criminal demanded the keys to the tool box, but the driver said that he didn’t have the keys. The thief shot at him, but the gun misfired. A passerby saw events unfold and tried to get the gun away from the thug who fired four times at the Good Samaritan, missing each time. The passerby pulled out his own gun and shot the criminal six times and then held him down until the police arrived and took the crook to the hospital. Luck was hard at work that morning.

In Indianapolis, Indiana, a woman heard someone breaking into her house through a window. When she went to her baby’s bedroom to check, the intruder was in the house and took a shot at her and missed. She fired back, striking him several times. The police arrived and took the criminal to the hospital. According to the report, he was also carrying zipties and a walkie talkie, so I guess his intentions were to make a nuisance of himself for an extended period of time.

In Raytown, Missouri, a resident found an armed burglar in his home and fired shots to scare the criminal away. Apparently it worked, no one was injured.

Anthony Tate in Chicago, Illinois was staying at his 88-year-old mother’s house. He heard someone breaking into the house. Anthony saw an arm come through the window and he shot the appendage. The owner of said appendage scurried off, leaving a trail of blood for the local constabulary to follow to it’s source. Anthony’s father had been killed in a home invasion in 1962 which prompted his mother to teach Anthony to have a firearm nearby while he was at home. It paid off, finally.

That scumbag in Ohio apparently didn’t read the TM or do any Preventive Maintenence

Old Trooper

6 hits and the bad guy lives?? Someone needs to upgrade the caliber of their sidearm.

Or change the type of ammo. Betcha it had FMJs. I had to downgrade from .45 to 9mm cause of arthritis, but 147gr JHP rounds make it combat effective

CCO

FMJ is probably cheaper. Some ammo is better than no ammo. (Didn’t we just have a parallel discussion regarding 9mm vs. anything else for the DoD?)

Next time, just keep shooting until the a.h. is quiet!!

Armed citizens doing their part to dissuade the smelly element of society. Good work, people.

Did Anthony Tate in Chicago have his FID and mother may I permit to possess a gun?

CCO

Regarding the Cleveland intruder with zip ties and a walkie-talkie, is there any word on who had the other walkie-talkie?

CCO

Oops, Indianapolis.

“Officer, I saw an appendage coming at me, I shot at said appendage and perpetrator withdrew said appendage post haste and retreated with said appendage dangling!”

Bill M

I think I might have waited until the roundish appendage at the end of said arm appeared and then ventilated that.
