Sunday morning feel good stories (Fixed link)
Something in the code of the video that I had posted before hid the stories that followed the first story, it’s fixed now.
Here’s an update for a story that happened in January in Louisville, Kentucky where a woman was assaulted in a parking garage. The man followed her to her car and bashed her head into the car and had he spread out on the back seat of the car when she pulled out her own gun and shot him in the neck. She escaped relatively unharmed and her assailant is in custody. The article is fairly descriptive of the encounter.
In Nampa, Idaho, a homeowner fired a warning shot to scare off an intruder. The article at the link discusses whether that was a proper course of action.
In Miller County, Arkansas, Trent Ames, sleeping at his mother’s home was wakened by someone banging on the door. He retrieved his handgun just as the intruder charged him. The intruder was DRT when the police arrived. The intruder may have killed a 63-year-old woman nearby before he was stopped by Mr. Ames – the woman’s car was found at the scene of the criminal’s death.

Ah, much better!
Now those are some feel good stories
How tragic that Ms. Seeger was able to call 911 but was murdered. RIP
shot in the neck at zero range and goes to hospital? lady needs to trade her .22 for a .38hp. (or take another shot)
It is those Daisey Red Ryder carbines….no killing power.
That little beretta has more than one shell, she should have kept shooting, more to the area of “between the eyes” imho
Regarding warning shots in Nampa, my opinion is this. My homeowner’s insurance does not cover holes in walls, roofs or floors (imagine hitting a water pipe) if inflicted my me. But, for a hole or three in an intruder, the clean up due to a crime having been committed is covered. I’ll take door number two every time and not for insurance reasons either.
Suuuurrre. . . . I believe in warning shots. . . . CENTER MASS warning shots. The next shot will be SERIOUS. . . between the eyes.
Is that clear now, class? Good. Dismissed.
It’s two center mass and if it even wobbles instead of hitting the dirt, than one in the melon.
