Sgt Tom Block; Human Exploitation Rescue Operation (HERO) Child-Rescue Corps

CNN’s Freedom Project starts their four-part “Heroes at Home: America’s Injured War Veterans” with the first in the series in which they look at wounded veterans who train with Human Exploitation Rescue Operation (HERO) Child-Rescue Corps to track down missing and exploited children in cooperation with law enforcement. This video focuses on former sergeant Tom Block, an injured Ranger who was named 2014’s Soldier of the Year by the Army Times;
Block is hoping to get a second chance to “go after bad guys again.”
“In one second their entire life changed. When that happens, I know from personal experience, you start to wonder, what can I now do? And once you find this opportunity, you know it’s truly your opportunity to step back into that role.”

The HERO — Human Exploitation Rescue Operative — program is designed for wounded, injured and ill veterans to receive training in sophisticated computer forensics, to join federal agents fighting against online child sexual exploitation.
Developed by Protect, in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), the veterans receive 11 weeks of intensive training and 10 months of on-the-ground experience.
They work alongside law enforcement teams executing warrants and serving as computer forensic analysts as part of a year-long unpaid internship.

Wounded, but not unable to serve their country. These warriors are still fighting for good.
Still serving. Makes me proud.
Outfrigginstanding!!!!!
RLTW
Bring em home Tom! Way to keep fighting!
This is an awesome program and it concerns an all too uncovered aspect of life in these United States. The number of disgusting humans who exploit children needs to be dramatically reduced, preferably with violence but arrest and jail for most of these fucking cowards is probably the best we can hope for at this time.
Thank you to these wonderful soldiers for their service and for their desire to continue that service to the nation and its most vulnerable citizens. You are truly making a real difference in this world.
I have personally met Block and will do a great job for this. But I am sure the others will also,.
I am so Blessed to be a part of our Military with so many Combat Sons and daughters. You all make me Proud everyday.
Kudos. An outstanding group of people doing a very necessary job. Glad to see this.
outfingstanding!!
Bag ’em & tag ’em & put ’em in the general pop. The other prisoners will know what to do with these child molesting scum (I almost called ’em “human”. my bad)
Scum is offended that you would associate these Bernaths with them.
Here’s a thought. How about a team of Vets who castrate the producers and distributors of this stuff? It seems to me that going after the users of this stuff is like going after street buyers to win the war on drugs. It’s not a winning approach. As for castration, it’s for first-time offenders only.
Only if the castration is done around the L3 area.
I would approve that.
Very well done!
Triple HOOOOAH !!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful program, well done. I applaud anyone who would save children from exploitation.
+1 to all who save children from being harmed, but especially our Veterans in this fight.
Wonderful job putting broken bodies back together to make them evens stronger and then able to make a true difference in the world. Public castrations with no anesthetic would do a lot to minimize participation by the freaks these gentlemen go after. Better yet, instead of publicly hanging them by the neck, tie a strong wire around their nuts and hang ’em like that.
