Monday morning feel good stories
This morning begins in Seabrook, Texas where Bryan Johnson fought off three home invaders who came into his home through his garage wielding a shotgun. Johnson fired his own handgun through a closed door and drove the threesome away. Two were found later by the police and the third is still in the wind.
In Manatee, Florida, a homeowner was lucky when the criminal tried to fire his gun at him. The gun malfunctioned and while the thief took immediate action, the homeowner beat him in the face with his own gun and then fired a shot at him, causing the criminal to abandon his plans for the evening. He fled the scene at a high rate of speed, and police are still looking for him.
In Littleton, Colorado, a homeowner was overpowered when he welcomed two buyers for the item he was selling on Craig’s List. The two tied him up while they ransacked his home. He escaped at the last minute, retrieved his gun and killed one of the thieves DOT (dead over there – at the hospital) when he was attempting to steal the victim’s car. The corpse’s friend is still on the run.

Continuous situational awareness and a readily available personal weapon will save a life and one’s personal goods.
I always do a perimeter check of the house before going to bed.I’m the last one to go to sleep, so I don’t have to worry about ‘friendlies” coming in afterward.
Any noises other than my daughter walking around early in the AM will bring an immediate response from me. I’m a light sleeper.
That’s some friends that’ll let some dickwad packing a gauge walk right past and tell him your name, too. More range time, get a gauge and find new friends to hang out with, preferably one’s with guns that know how to use ’em.
Inviting strangers to the abode is always a good idea. Very lucky man in CO. It’s good he made one crook dead w/ no chance for parole, and only lost a car.
Craig’s List is NOT your friend.

People, People, People. Never meet someone from Craigs List at your house or theirs. Always meet during the day either in a very public place or at a police station.
