Friday morning feel good stories
This morning we begin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where a homeowner got in a gunfight with an intruder. Both were injured, but with non-life-threatening injuries.
In Cheektowaga, New York, where the same scenario unfolded, except that neither the criminals nor their victim were injured in the ensuing gunfight.
In Hamilton Township, Ohio, where a daughter saw that her paralyzed mother had her drugs stolen from her bedside and took her father’s .22 pistol and fired several times at a figure in the basement. She thinks she hit the fellow, but he took off as quickly as possible.
In Inola, Oklahoma, the local prosecutor shot an intruder in her house. Police found him a short ways down the road, there no word on well she shot the intruder yet.
In the self-solving problems department, in Tacoma, Washington, a burglar shot himself in the leg with a stolen gun he’d just grabbed in a home while he looted the place. He tagged himself well-enough that the police linked his dumbass to the crime.

A gunfight is a situation where every round should be sent to the most effective area of the target. While none of these victims were killed, it could have been much different if their assailants had just a bit more skill.
Shot himself in the leg! My kind of burglar.
The other people need more range time. And I do hope that young woman’s momma is okay.
Obviously the people New York need better “gun control”.
Not more gun control – better (i.e., trigger discipline, good aim, etc . . . ).
I love this priceless quote from the article about the OK prosecutor.
The sheriff is obviously not PC. He followed that up with “If more of these ended like this we wouldn’t have as many of these crimes“.
Damn! No “D”s today (DRT or DOT). Oh, well, gotta have an off day once in awhile.
Coroner needed a vaca.
