Monday morning feel good stories

Roger sends us a link to a story that happened in Woodland, Washington, where Bill Lahti rolled up on some folks who were stealing from his home. He used his gun to force them to their knees and then he made them dial 9-1-1 to call the police on themselves.

In Des Moines, Iowa, a man was found by police to be DRT (dead right there) after he broke into the home. There’s no cause of death mentioned in the article.

In San Bernadino, California, a man was at home with his girlfriend and some fellows broke into the residence. He got into an altercation with one who had a gun, the man was shot in the shoulder but he wrestled the gun from the criminal and killed him DRT and wounded another. The dead man’s friends left and then got in a running vehicular shoot out. There’s no word on the body count for that one.

Amy sends us a link from Houston, Texas, where a woman was in the parking lot outside her home on the phone with her boyfriend who was in the apartment when two men accosted her and tried to steal her purse. The boyfriend came on the scene, thought that he saw a gun, and made one of them DRT while the other un-assed the AO.

In Vale, Oregon, a homeowner shot an intruder after an altercation, who was DRT.

In New Orleans, Louisiana, Jordan Lowe broke into a homeowner’s vehicle when he was confronted by the homeowner. The resident went into his home followed by Lowe. The 62-year-old armed himself and shot Lowe twice. There’s no word on Mr Lowe’s condition.
