Friday morning feel good stories
In Albany, Georgia, a homeowner fired warning shots at a drunken boob who was trying to break into the home that he thought was his ex-wife’s home. The boob was held for police after the sound of gunfire sobered him up for a minute or two.
In Panama City, Florida, one thief was shot in the leg by a homeowner and another was arrested by a homeowner who caught them trying to pilfer his stuff.
In Winter Park, Florida, a homeowner shot one of three burglars when he found them stealing his stuff after he returned home. The trio jumped in their getaway car and crashed it, the uninjured pair of blue falcons left their buddy behind to be found by the police.
In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 18-year-old Ruben A. Rodriquez Jr. was shot “during the commission of a crime” and he DOT (died over there) at the hospital. Even though details haven’t been worked out yet, his partner, 18-year-old Christian Navarro who was in on the commission of this nebulous crime has been booked for felony murder of his buddy.

Good guys with guns stopping the nefarious efforts of bad guys. Works quite well.
HA! Justice!
I thought when you went to jail, you learned how to be a better criminal.
I guess those lessons have been lost on some of these perps.
Ex, they’re learning their trade at the hands of other criminals who are also in jail. Those are not the ones to be taking lessons from.
That felony murder doctrine is a humdinger. It works like this: If two or more people commit or attempt to commit a felony and someone dies during the course of the crime’s attempt or commission, the surviving criminal(s) are criminally responsible for the death. The death need not be intentional and the death may be of a perpetrator, a victim of the felony, a police officer who responds, or a bystander. What’s more, the surviving perpetrator(s) need not have caused the death. So, if a homeowner shoots and kills one of two burglars, the surviving burglar wins a charge of murder. Smile.
Yep. A number of perps find that out the hard way after they’re apprehended and charged.
And that just breaks my heart. (smile)
Happy Friday indeed!
Good to see the gene pool has become at least one bit shallower by a willing volunteer.
In the Oklahoma City link, “Investigators have yet to locate the person who shot Rodriquez”
I have to think that many people who carry do not have an unconstitutional permit and many have been discouraged by the Social Security/Obama Administration getting the list of those permitted.
I surely don’t blame the shooter who disappeared to probably avoid the criminal justice system and lawsuits.
Forgot to add the website about the CCW permit thing:

Maybe this has happened elsewhere and we will never know who has a list when the gun grabbers might come..Perhaps I’m paranoid, but who knows?
