Thursday morning feel good stories

| November 12, 2015

I spent hours yesterday looking for feel good stories and there wasn’t one new story about a civilian using a firearm to defend themselves. I did find an update on a story that might make you feel good. The one we did yesterday from Ladner, South Carolina about the 13-year-old who shot an intruder to death – well I guess the DRT had a partner and that partner was arrested and he was denied bail while he awaits trial. The teen was uninjured in the encounter.

Also, there was one in Denver, Colorado, two potheads pistol-whipped another pothead for his dope. When they left the scene, the police began to chase them and then lost the crooks, so they executed a search warrant based on the license number and found the vehicle that they had used in the commission of the home invasion. Another police department reported seeing the pair in another car. When they cornered the crooks, one of the crooks flashed a handgun and the police ended his crime spree DRT (dead right there). But, you know how they said that legalizing marijuana would cut down on crime? Maybe not so much.

Here’s a late-breaking story from Miami, Florida, where 88-years-old widow Arlene Theresa Orms busted caps on a fellow who broke down her door saving herself from robbery at a minimum. It’s not known if she hit her target, but at least she changed his mind about his intentions.

Rather light on the hard facts, but there is some substance there.

Was he DRT or DOT?
And did he have an opportunity to pass his Stoopid Genes on to another generation? (i.e., does he have any surviving children?)

Aysel

that’s not really a feel good story, that’s a Darwin Award at the most
