Political Connections? You Decide.

| October 27, 2015

I’ll just leave this here, followed by  some brief comments.

Watchdog: Feds sold horses for slaughter to rancher with reported political ties

First comment:  this type of corrupt behavior is disgusting.  Second:  since the government apparently lost money on the deal – but the marketing specialist who approved the sales nonetheless got superior reviews (and bonuses) for several years while this was going on – I’m not sure I believe the “this matter did not warrant further investigation” finding.

The full IG report can be found here.

I guess this was just another bit of honest, above-board dealing from “the most transparent Administration in history”.

There is a connection; Steve Ellis of BLM had a daughter killed in Iraq. We can all connect with that.

IT looks like the real scum bag from BLM is Neil Kornze, Director, Bureau of Land Management who
Before coming to the Bureau of Land Management, Kornze worked as a Senior Advisor to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada. His work for Senator Reid, which spanned from early 2003 to early 2011. Besides the horses that were sold to mexico to be slaughtered to make burgers that will then be imported into the USA, the BLM also wanted a 1 million dollar outpost at Burning Man Festival so they could observe, report and get free Ice Cream.

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky., May 12, 2008 — A 101st Airborne Division Soldier died Sunday from wounds suffered when her vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Baghdad, Iraq.

Cpl. Jessica A. Ellis, 24, of Bend, Ore., was a health care specialist assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team.

She entered the Army in September 2004 and arrived at Fort Campbell in May 2005.

Ellis’ awards and decorations include: Army Commendation Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Iraq Campaign Medal; Meritorious Unit Citation; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; Combat Medical Badge; and Weapons Qualification, M4, expert.

She is survived by her parents, Linda and Steven Ellis, of Baker City, Ore.
Steve and Linda Ellis moved to Baker City from Lakeview, where Steve Ellis had managed the BLM’s Lakeview District since August 1997.

These are the type of people that need to be at the top of everyone’s bucket list. I know, it would get very crowded real quick. Not too worry though. I got a bad gut feeling that the SWHTF in the not so distant future.

All this crap of different colors going on is one day going to converge into a perfect storm.

There has always been politics connected to the wild horses, and most if not all of it is corrupt. I say if that rancher is man enough to deliberately defraud us and the government, he’s man enough to take the heat for what he’d done. He needs to be run out on a rail. I think it would be cost effective to stuff him and his entire clan into the horse railcars or trucks headed to Mexico — while they were full of wild horses!

Skippy

This is Bad but it’s nothing like the land deal during the Clinton years done here in Arizona a 260 acre parcel for a 6,000 acre parcel the land up in Nevada was worth then about 200 million dollers the land here in Arizona was worth about 30,000 bucks. Good ole Harry Reid of Nevada had his fingers in on the deal…. The media seems to have forgotten or refused to report it….

Harry Reid is as dirty as they come.

Devtun

U.S. AG declines to pursue this matter. A brony scandal…no there there/move along/these aren’t the droids you’re looking for, etc.

Thunderstixx

It’s like a Glen Fry video…
“You ask any DEA man he’ll say there’s nothing we can do…”
I am so sick of reading this crap. It’s on both sides of the aisle and runs rampant through the houses of congress like offering free beer at a redneck mud truck festival…

OldSoldier54

Pretty much.
