Spencer Stone, Paris train hero, stabbed
Chief Tango sends us a link to NBC News which reports that Spencer Stone, one of the three Americans on the train to Paris who stopped a jihadist from killing a number of Europeans a few weeks ago, was stabbed outside a club in Sacramento, California.
Airman First Class Stone was in stable condition on Thursday, an Air Force spokesperson said.
“He is alive and in stable condition at this time,” the spokesperson said. “We do not have any information as to the events preceding the incident.”
Stone was stabbed multiple times in the torso after a fight near some popular bars in downtown Sacramento, police said, according to NBC affiliate KCRA.

I work with a few senior AF NCOs and about 95 percent are not all that happy about mr stone jumping two ranks up to a NCO rank. this maybe the reason. not quite ready for the responsibility?????

As has been explained before, he’s due to sew on SrA (E-4) either this month or in November and then he was going to be STEP promoted to SSgt (E-5). That being said, if he has not completed the Airman Leadership School (ALS)which all Senior airmen with 48 months time in service or those with a promotion line number for Staff sergeant, must complete, then I would think he should complete it.

Not a lot of details in either story except that the incident occurred at 12:45 a.m.
It’s a pretty good rule of thumb that nothing good happens after midnight.

From stories I’m reading here and there, it seems to have happened outside a bar on a street corner by anywhere from two to a group of half-a-dozen (or so) Asians.
A drunken bar brawl? Or a targeted muzzie revenge attack for the Paris train incident? Enquiring minds, and all that. . . . .

At the FREE NORTH CAROLINA web site, there is a link to a report by THE GATEWAY PUNDIT web site, which says, Airman Stone was stabbed four (04) times in his chest by at least two (02) Asian youths, while attempting to protect a friend from attack by a gang of Asian youths.
Initially, homicide detectives were called, because police did not expect Airman Stone to survive.
Even now, there are conflicting (unconfirmed?) reports that Airman Stone is currently in critical condition.
Police are seeking the two (02) Asian suspects.
SAC news has confirmed listing as critical.
The video online shows the attack and him beating down the attackers.
As the Asian cowards fled the scene of the crime, video shows blood soaked shirt of the Airman.
He bled quickly and in quantity. Reports say he did sustain injuries to his left lung and heart.
Let’s hope his recent injury plussed up his on board liquid volume. Tramatic injury tends to do that in recovery and post recovery stage. It is a natural form of doping.

*1 member of the Train Trio was supposed to be at the Oregon CC that got shot up.
*Another, A1C Stone, is stabbed in a slightly inexplicable fight.

There was a video of the attack on the news. They mobbed him and then ran.
The local news (San Diego) is reporting that he is stable and expected to survive, thank God. I saw that the Prime Minister of Belgium awarded them each a valor medal of some type this weekend. Its posted on the New York consulate Face Book page for the Belgian Embassy. My question to you uniform pros: can these young men wear these foreign awards on their service and dress uniforms? Honest question. Thanks!
