Obama: Time to begin spending again

The Washington Times reports that the president, sending his nearly $4 trillion budget to Congress, has proclaimed that the economy has recovered and that it is “time to begin spending again” hinting that the so-called sequester, you know, the idea that came out of the White House in the first place, should end.

“I’m not going to accept a budget that locks in sequestration going forward,” the president said. “It would be bad for our security and bad for our growth. I will not accept a budget that severs the vital link between our national security and our economic security.”

His plans include some tax increases he has tried before, such as a “Buffet tax” to impose a mandatory minimum levy on the wealthy, as well as hikes on repatriation of foreign income and capital gains. His spending proposals, likewise, are a mix of new and old.

So, I guess he’s given up any pretense of balancing the budget, and of course, the new taxes on the rich (Bill Clinton decided that I was one of the rich in the 90s so who knows where tax increases will end) won’t be matched by cuts in social spending. Like I predicted in 2008, before the election, the only budget balancing was on the backs of veterans and at the expense of our national security.

You would think that now that the President has declared the end of our economic crisis (like he declared the end of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars), veterans wouldn’t be in the crosshairs of the budget-slashing crowd, but, no, the new budget plan includes increases to our healthcare costs (even though they already raided our Tricare premium surplus). So, I guess veterans and military retirees are among “the rich” who will have to shoulder the burden of his plan to increase spending.

But wait…there’s more! He’s also going to try and tax businesses who have not earned all of their money in the US and, lest I leave this alone–he has given work permits to over 18 million illegals who are NOT authorized since 2009.
Cue the song…”Breakin’ the law…breakin’ the law…”

What I got from a recent briefing was that the CG’s are not going to “make due”, as we (military) did in the past. They have expressed this to the White House and Pentagon. They said they just couldn’t do it on the current budget and esp the sequestration. If it happens (sequestration) 2016 will be a bad, bad FY.

I REALLY think this man has a mental illness.

Apparently, Mr. Obama hasn’t run out of other people’s money.

In a normal situation, we could fix that by electing a better president from another party. However, after reviewing the potential candidates, I think that solution may not work for us.

The Other Whitey

I saw the Glorious Leader on TV last night, saying that his plan will “reduce taxes for thirty-million Americans.”

My answer was, “That’s great, Barry. How about the other THREE-HUNDRED-MILLION of us that you’re going to ratfuck with higher taxes with this brilliant plan of yours?”

Seriously, fuck this guy.

The Other Whitey…I bet money those 30 million are part of the welfare class who pay no taxes now but their refunds= checks will get bigger when Obama increases all their “gimme” tax credits.

No, there’s no mental illness there. It’s a slacker mentality born and bred in someone who has had everything in the world, including money, handed to him since Day One of his useless life. People who voted for him with their crotches instead of their brains got what they deserved. Unfortunately, the rest of us got him, too. A slacker, a dilettante, a spoiled brat who has never done a real day’s work in his life, who has ridden through the streets of privilege throwing out smiles and handshakes like some potentate, which he is not. It was all an illusion from the very start, fostered and coddled by people who saw this jackanapes as the opportunity of a lifetime to have ‘their way’ in taking apart the only country in which everyone has an equal opportunity at birth. The spendthrift gene and mindset that these mudpuppies cherish is entirely based on pure laziness and fostered and fertilized for growth by people who hate anyone who actually works for a living. They despise the wealthy not so much because they have tons of money, but because in this country, you can start with zero dollars in your pocket, as did Jobs, Wozniak and Gates, and build a massive corporation that employs thousands of people, who also work hard and actually EARN the money they get. Any immigrant can come here and do the same thing. Arnold Schwarzenegger, AKA the Terminator, saw the opportunities and made the most of them. And yeah, he was hot in ‘Conan the Barbarian’ and ‘Terminator’. And he literally started with nothing other than a $2 business license. Tina Turner left Ike because he beat the crap out of her. She didn’t even have money for a hotel room, but she made a career by leaving behind that disaster and Ike faded away into nothing. This is and always has been the land of opportunity. Hell, you can be the best bank robber in the world. If that weren’t so, we wouldn’t have a history of famous outlaws like the Dalton Brothers and Jesse James, Dillinger… Read more »
