Sunday morning feel good stories

| January 11, 2015

The first feel good story today comes from Wisconsin where a man with a concealed weapon permit turned the tables on a barber shopr robber;

“He asked some questions about how much a haircut costs, then went into the bathroom to put his mask on and get his gun ready or whatever,” Ty said.

Milwaukee police said the robber started patting down customers when one of them pulled out a gun and shot the man.

The co-owner said his customer protected himself and other patrons.

“One of the customers acted in self-defense. He had his (concealed-carry permit), a registered firearm, and unfortunately killed the robber,” Ty said.

The dead man was not immediately identified. Ty said he had never seen the robber before and wondered why his business was targeted.

The next story comes from Texas where an ex-girlfriend fought off the advances of an old boy friend;

A 33 year old man forced his way into that home through a back door and began attacking a 41 year old man who was inside. While they were fighting, the 26 year old ex-girlfriend ran to a bedroom where she and the intruder began struggling over a gun.

The gun went off hitting the ex-boyfriend in the chest. He died at a local hospital.

Finally, the last short story comes from Colorado;

According to early reports from investigators, a person who was in the home at the time, heard the intruder, pulled out a gun, and shot him.

The injured suspect was sent to the hospital.

Right now there is no word on the suspect’s condition, and no names have been released yet.

As always, thanks to the vigilance of Chief Tango for the links today.
