Rockets over Tel Aviv

| July 28, 2014

Richard sends us some pictures that his boss took and sent him of some parts from Hamas’ rockets north of Tel Aviv. Notice that some still have their manufacturing markings, in the unlikely case that you have any doubts about their origins;

I’m going to be a little skeptical for one reason: Notice the writing in the 2nd picture is all in English. Why would an Arab manufacturer, building a weapon for an Arab client, write it out in English?

Ignorant pride…

So that WE can read it.

I’m with Old Trooper on this one. This is too obvious, or something.

Mr Wolf

And how is it Gaza has ‘manufacturing’ ability? Assembly, I get. But stamping??? Something afowl here.

Now, if it had said something about ‘manufactured FOR Gaza’, meaning as a target, I’m all for 🙂

Cacti35

I guess I am skeptical too, I didn’t think those lazy fucks manufactured anything over there with the exception of suicide vests.

One of my friends is heavily into model rocketry. He’s actually built rockets without a kit and successfully launched it. The entire thing cost him about $80. That doesn’t count the booster fuel block thingy, but that’s not much more expensive that the rocket itself.

He said that he could fit about fifteen pounds in it and still achieve a good altitude. When asked about the Hamas rockets, he got quiet.

I found out later that it was the same exact build set-up as most of the rockets Hamas is launching. But, the payload is filled with explosives and ball-bearings. It also doesn’t need any different thrust since it is being launched diagonally and not vertically.

Richard

Here is the wiki article about the hellfire missile, the favorite fashion accessory of the US UAV fleet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGM-114_Hellfire

Your friends 15 pound payload converts to 9.3 kg. The Hellfire uses either an 8 kg or 9 kg warhead so they are roughly equivalent.

Hamas has been firing home-made Qassam rockets at Israel for about 13 years. There are 3 or 4 models. Model 1 has a 5 kg warhead (8 pounds), model 2 had a 10 kg warhead (16 pounds), and model 3 has a 20 kg warhead (32 pounds).

Just for comparison, an M67 hand grenade contains 0.4 pounds of explosive (comp B).

I’m skeptical on this one as well. It’s just too much of the obvious, and so is suspect.

Gaza is having trouble manufacturing bread on a consistent daily basis, but they’re manufacturing missiles?? Really???

Medic09

Yes. Really. Israeli intel says so; and the Arabs claim it.

http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2014/07/hamas-war-israel-without-iran-support.html#

Admittedly, I don’t know about these photos; but Hamas is definitely making munitions. What do you think they do with all the *billions* of Dollars and Euros they’ve received? Gaza city had only two hospitals, but plenty of terror tunnels. Trouble making bread; but no lack of mortars and missiles. Believe it.

Delilah T.

Syrian insurgents are using children to manufacture rockets and IEDs. They have an entire munitions industry going using child labor. There were photos on the internet about six weeks ago.

To keep it in some functional context, we need to remember that the Arab world in general, and HAMAS in particular, do not give a single solitary squat for the lives or welfare of the “palestinian people”.

The “palestinains” exist only as a weapon to be used against the Israelis. That is their only purpose. The Arab world whines and moans in “solidarity” for their palestine “brothers and sisters” but treats them as human garbage in their own countries, whenever they’re allowed into those counties as individuals (except for an occasional “pet monkey” ((their term, not mine)) to display to the crowds of useful idiots that are the general Arab world pop).

The people squatting in Gaza are kept at high misery levels to the best of the authorities abilities because that serves the cause.

Hack Stone

Are you talking about Gaza or Chicago?

FatCircles0311

Incoming made in America Jewish false flag NWO theories…

vietnam war protestor aka uss liberty aka deport republicans not the children

Israel has to win. All hamas has to do is not lose. Guerrilla warfare. Neither Washington or Giap lost so they won. Pay egypt $$$ to take over gaza with their army and police that will end it and cheep at the price other wise the children of gaza are hanging tough and will be hard to beat!

I don’t know how many times we have to tell you VWP, but for the live of God, please install and use some spellcheck software.

And as for your complete name in your thread postings, if all of the Republicans are deported (I don’t know how you can “deport”a citizen), who will be paying the taxes to sustain this Utopia that you are dreaming of? You have families that have been collecting welfare for four or five generations, and the only thing they are aualified to do us produce more offspring. Most of those Republicans that you despise get up every morning to go to work and pay their taxes so you can sit in your mother’s basement sniffing shoe polish and posting incoherent remarks.

Where did you get your information? Washington regularly got his arse handed to him by the British Troops. He only lived but for the grace of God. Heck, his greatest victory should have been a bloodbath.

They should have sunk in the ice-filled river. They should have been seen, but it was foggy that night. The troops they were facing were elite Hessian forces, but they were taken by surprise. The enemy couldn’t shoot because their powder was damp in the winter fog.

Finally, what of the Israeli children that will be massacred by the Islamic forces? Do you care about those children or are you so anti-Semitic that you want them dead along with Hamas?

Just an Old Dog

Not buying that stamp. It makes no sense to put a manufacturer’s stamp on something to make a point when theres a chance it will fragment or be burned so its unreadable.
There is a PR war going on. Both sides are playing it to the hilt. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if this piece was stamped out and thrown in with the pieces of a real rocket fired by HAMAS.

Hondo

Dunno, Old Dog. Could be that Hamas WANTS everyone to know that they’re capable of sending a rocket (albeit a puny and unaimed one) to Tel Aviv.

Lots of crap is done for propaganda purposes that doesn’t otherwise pass the common sense test.

You could be correct, but Hamas has more to gain from propaganda here than the Israelis have to gain from a false-flag ruse. Everyone with a brain knows these rockets are coming from Gaza. The fact that they’re “home grown” is a major propaganda point for them.

David

Even if I could not make fire any other way than rubbing two sticks together, I would sure as hell order my weaponry with markings like that all over it. Never hurts to have your enemy over-cautious about your abilities, and like the man said above – propaganda. Besides, there is nothing in those pictures a high-school shop class couldn’t make.

streetsweeper

And cue Alex Jones in about…..

Richard

I asked my boss to address your questions about the casting/stamping in photo 2. It is 11 pm there so I don’t expect to hear from him until tomorrow. When he gets back to me, I will post his answer.

Hamas makes most of their own rockets in small shops scattered around Gaza. Google “qassam rocket” or “hamas rocket”. The first qassam was built and fired into Israel in 2001. Since 2001, Hamas has fired about 10,000 rockets into Israel (about 2 per day) plus another 4,000 mortar rounds. Those statistics do not include the last 20 days. In 2006, Hamas started to buy longer range rockets – still unguided – from Syria, Iran, and China. They started with the Grad. Now they are buying the Fajr-5 and the M302.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qassam_rocket

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_rocket_attacks_on_Israel

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/para/hamas-qassam.htm

The qassam is relatively short range. The Fajr-5 has a range of 75 km and a 90kg warhead. The M302 has a range of 150 km and a 150 kg warhead.

Old Trooper

I’m not saying they don’t make their own rockets. They do. My question is why is it stamped “made in gaza” in English?

I understand the propaganda angle, however, it won’t do them any good to advertise that they are lobbing their home grown rockets into Israel, especially not with the international hand wringers.

Richard

The Zionists oppress our people! They put up an oppressive blockade to prevent our people from receiving food! They bomb our women and children! Of course we have to shoot back! I will see to it that they know who fired that bomb!

Tom Stiefermann

Not sure if you saw this, but this was masterfully written.

“Notice that some still have their manufacturing markings, in the unlikely case that you have any doubts about their origins.” When I read that, my first thought was “Made in USA.” I kid you not.
