Nigeria locates kidnapped teens

| May 27, 2014

The Associated Press reports that the Nigerian government has claimed that they have located the hundreds of kidnapped teenage girls, that last week they had negotiated with the al-Qaeda-linked Boko Haram terrorists who did the kidnapping, but the negotiations had failed.

President Jonathan was forced this month to accept international help. American planes have been searching for the girls and Britain, France, Israel and other countries have sent experts in surveillance and hostage negotiation.

A U.S. Defense Department spokesman said the department cannot confirm the reports about the Nigerian girls at this point. The official, who was not authorized to speak publicly about the situation, spoke on background.

Jonathan’s reluctance to accept offered help for weeks is seen as unwillingness to have outsiders looking in on what is considered a very corrupt force.

The Nigerian Army is reluctant to make a move to rescue the girls because of the potential for a high body count among the victims. I think it’s because you guys aren’t hashtagging the terrorists enough. In my opinion, it looks like US forces may be the ones to do this just so Michelle Obama won’t be sad about the girls anymore. The Nigerians won’t rescue their own people, our allies won’t do it, so who does that leave?

What could possibly go wrong?

The Other Whitey…I wanted to write something salient. But you said it best. Yes, what could possibly go wrong once we are on the ground in that shithole.

Again, Mr. and Mrs. (we care about kidnapped kids a lot) Obama, what about the thousands of kids kidnapped, by other than family members in this country every year? Many sold into sex slavery abroad. Where is Michelle’s concern for them? What is your answer to this “downtown USA” problem that’s been going on as long as I can remember? Are the American victims here mostly just “too white” in your minds? (It happens to children of all races by the way) Mr. & Mrs. (we love and care about kidnapped teenage girls from other countries but not our own) Obama, please offer an answer to that problem and an active solution and I will support our boots on the ground elsewhere. Until then, sorry, but my sympathies lie here at home first. American lives are precious, you two can’t just spend them like your taxpayer vacation money.

…after we did, local villagers did, everyone with Facebook did, etc.

Not to mention an American pastor who is languishing in an Iranian prison, followed by a Marine reservist who is in Mexico. Did I leave anyone out?

I’ve heard and read that B. Hussein 0bama & Company have sent 80 American Personnel to Nigeria to assist. That’s 80 MORE than they sent to rescue our Ambassador to Libya!!
