Ricky Lee Coleman Jr. defrauded thousands of veterans
Jilly sends us a link to News4 in Nashville with the news that Ricky Lee Coleman Jr. pleaded guilty to defrauding thousands of veterans and others with his little job training and job placement services companies;
Federal prosecutors said Coleman admitted in court that about 2,600 customers paid his companies more than $900,000 thinking he was going to provide training in the areas of counter-terrorism, counter-assault, personal security and special operations. Authorities said that he also admitted that fewer than 20 of the thousands who paid him were ever assigned to training classes.
The Department of Justice says that he faces extensive jail time;
If convicted, Coleman faces up to 25 years in prison for each count of wire fraud and mail fraud and 20 years in prison for each count of credit card fraud, as well as an additional two year mandatory sentence for aggravated identity theft.
Dude’s gonna have to start training body guards to protect his own body for the next several decades in the Graybar Hotel.

What he should have done is written a book claiming to have been racing to a historical event only to arrive just in time for the final assault but actually sit safely at home while the event ends and for some time after. Then, he could regal readers with horrible made up stories about his personal derring-do and start going around the speaking circuit telling people that he spent 18 years training the most secret and specialized foreign military special operations forces despite a resume of tactical experience that spans a total of 58 days. Then he could just contract with the government based on a vague threat that will never happen using the theory, “we must do something, this is something, we must do this”. Of course, that type of personal gain won’t be punished at all.
It worked for John Giduck. This ass clown should have taken notes from Giduck.
Glad they caught another one!
