American Legion Commander calls for Shinseki resignation
In light of the recent revelations at the Phoenix, AZ VA hospital, the American Legion has joined a plethora of Veterans’ Service Organizations in called for the resignation of incompetent boob (my words) Eric Shinseki;

An appropriate gesture from the American Legion, but it will come to nothing. The losers, thieves and liars of this administration will not demand anything of the VA above firing some folks from the Phoenix hospital.
Nobody at the national level is going to feel any ripples from this. They are all riding this smoking plane into the ground together. Unfortunately, they are taking the welfare of our veterans who really need help with them.
If it went as I wished, he’d be canned, prosecuted and lose his retirement. But that’s just me wishing. I’m sure Obama has another place in the administration all lined up for him to be “laterally reassigned to”.

They ought to add to the charges: “For foisting the vaunted Ranger black beret on the entire army.”

It’s actually a shame that it’s come to this. Shinseki got canned as Army Chief of Staff for NOT saying what Rumsfeld wanted him to say regarding occupation force numbers in Iraq. He had a pretty stellar career before that too. It’s sucks how politics can ruin folks like that.

Shinseki earned the Ranger tab; he should be in the Ranger Hall of Shame. If they don’t have one they should form one and he’d be a great cornerstone candidate.

What the POTUS should do is have Shinseki issue us all a new hat. A hat that’d make us feel special.

Shinseki is one of the biggest assholes I know. He can’t be gone fast enough.
I was told by past Rangers, that he washed out of Ranger School, and had to use his rank to get his tab. That is why there was bad blood and he gave everyone the black beret.
