Phony poses as soldier for free bus ride

Chip sends us a link to CBSBoston which reports that Christopher Keefe a 28-year-old from Braintree, Massachusetts tried to convince a ticket agent that he was in the military and should get a free ride.
Transit Police said Christopher Keefe, 28, of Braintree, approached a customer service agent at the Mass. Avenue MBTA station just before 7:00 Tuesday night and told her he was an “active duty” member of the armed forces and asked to ride without paying.
When T officers asked to see Keefe’s military ID, police said, they discovered that he was not telling the truth and that there was a warrant for his arrest for assault and battery on an elderly person.
Same class of criminal as Truitt and Ladner, claiming shit he doesn’t deserve. I’m not even sure what the policy of the Mass. Bay Transit Authority’s policy is for the military. I don’t even see a reduced fare program for the military. I guess he’s just a dumbass. he looks an awful lot like Ed Snowden, too, so he must be a criminal.

… and to top off his ass-hattery was the warrant for A&B on the elderly. What a low life.
Dumbass. When you have a warrant out on your low life self, you’re NOT supposed to draw attention to yourself.
But then again, if you were smart enough, you probably wouldn’t have done something dumb and criminal enough to warrant a warrant.
(thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week)
If he is looking for a free bus ride, I know of two that will take you to Parris Island and Ft. Bragg.
Just another shit-eating ass-wiping criminal scumbagging drain on this society…
Meh, another Masshole doing something stupid. Yawn.
Then again, he’s going to be real popular when it gets out he likes beating up old people.
Very nice. The wife of one of my KIA soldiers is an MBTA cop. The former chief of the MBTA police was TAG MANG. At the soldier’s funeral, a disproportionate number of the MBTA police there were current National Guard members or former AC or RC service members. I’m sure that the arresting officers made his tip to the jailhouse memorable.
His brazen stupidity should be rewarded with a memorable ass kicking.
He likes beating up old people, huh? When he gets his flabby ass out of jail, send him to my house. I have a LOT of work he can do, and cast iron skillet for reinforcement.
DOG TURD!!
Damn, I think I just insulted dog feces everywhere!!
I also hope he “tripped and fell” repeatedly on the way to his cell, where Bubba, Thor, and Company straightened his ass out, if yaknowhutimean?
@Ex-PH2, why soil a perfectly good cast iron skillet when a claw or ball peen hammer will do nicely?
I went to Boston last October wearing ASUs to a memorial service for my childhood friend. I was accompanied by my 4-year old daughter and elected to take the train. After finding cash, figuring out the current fare and chatting with another vet, the train pulled into the station. Some of the trains operate on both surface and in tunnels, therefore while you’re on the surface going inbound towards the city you pay at the front of the train. When I got on, cash in hand, the operator covered the bill collector and said, “You ride free today.” I still don’t know if it’s policy for the MBTA or a courtesy.
As an aside, here’s the latest news story about the MBTA police officer wife of the soldier who was killed in Afghanistan. I forgot to mention that she is an Iraq vet who was wounded there.

@12 Bobo,
I knew her deceased husband and met his wife at the funeral. It was attended by over a battalion of Soldiers.
Rochambeau,
I’m going to guess that we have met each other somewhere, then. I was also at the funeral, one of many in a uniform. Jonn has my contact info. I was Kevin’s PL in A/1/104 IN(L).
Bobo,
We’ve certainly met. I was the medical PSG for HHC 1-104 IN(L) and deployed with to Bosnia in 2001.
He should look at this from a positive aspect. He ended up getting to STAY somewhere “free of charge” to him. 😀 Throw in some “free” food if he spent enough time there. 😀 He also gets a “free” lesson on how the court process works on the plaintiff/defendant side of the house… plus he gets to star in his own interactive “Law and Order” show. Talk about an actual “steal.” 😀
Not being a “big city” boy, what do they get for an MBTA ride these days?
I mean I guess I understand not being “flush” at every given moment. But, man I think I would have said I was a Priest or needed a ride to the “Stupid Clinic” for my meds or something other than AD military. However, all’s well that ends well. Now he has a warm place to stay, 3 hots and a cot. Plus ALL the love his cell block buddies can bestow “in” him. 😀
He is not a Poser… he served in the MAANG with the 181st Infantry and the 182d according to an aunt of his. No excuse for bad behavior but she states he has had a difficult time readjusting since he came home from his last deployment.
Dumbass, yes. Poser, no.
Nope, the idiot looks more like scary, flip flopper Kerry.
@11-Ugh, that’s a bad sign, though. If all you need to do to get free bus fare now is to don a set of ASU’s…Well, I hope the surplus stores are well stocked for all the phonies who will inevitably be buying (groan).
Pinged some friends who were in Afghanistan with the 181 IN. There was a Christopher Keefe who was with PRT Zabul. They sent this (http://www.army.mil/article/53266/Forces_in_Afghanistan_capture_Haqqani_terrorist/) but I can’t tell if it is the same guy. The MA ARNG guys are trying to confirm.
