Tuesday morning feel good stories

| November 19, 2013

The first story this morning comes from Tennessee and it’s about three enterprising teengers who were trying to turn their lives around with someone else’s scrap metal;

The homeowner stated that he confronted the two male suspects coming out of a room at the back of his residence, at which time they ran toward his direction, and being in fear, the homeowner discharged a firearm toward the suspects.

The homeowner is a 69-year-old man who was home alone at the time of the incident.

All statements that have been taken at this time corroborate the chain of events. The sheriff’s office continues to collect evidence and conduct further investigation into this case.

Sheriff Sisk said the two teens were unarmed, but they ran toward the homeowner and he felt threatened.

The second story comes from Texarkana where an alleged burglar was allegedly in an alleged house when he was encountered by the alleged homeowner who allegedly shot him with an alleged gun, which fired alleged bullets. Allegedly;

It happened around 4:00 a.m. at a home in the 3400 block of Rice Street.

Police have begun their investigation. Preliminary reports say the homeowner apparently did not know the man who allegedly broke into the house. Several people were inside the home at the time of the incident. No one else was hurt.
