Saturday Feel Good Story

| August 17, 2013

Chief Tango sends us our feel good story for the day, this one from Milwaukee. Three people tried to rob a bar with at least two guns;

Andy Kochanski, owner of Concertina Beer Hall, says three armed suspects attempted to rob him at gunpoint. That’s when Kochanski produced a handgun and shot one of the suspects.

The suspect died on the scene, and the other two suspects fled.

“I defended myself,” said Kochanski. “I did the shooting. Two guys with guns, what are you going to do? Protect yourself and your customers, that’s what I did.”

Nearby residents and customers commended Kochanski’s actions, however this is not the first time the bar owner has pulled out his pistol.

“There was another attempted robbery during my Christmas party which I dealt with pretty much the same way. I have no regrets doing it and I would do it again,” said Kochanski.

You don’t mess with a bar keep with a shot record! My grandma is the same way. HAHAHA- give that man a prize or some good drink for him.

When a bar’s name includes the word “CONCERTINA”, assholes who would seek to do the owner and his patrons harm should think twice. These chodes apparently didn’t think at all.

You’d think they would learn…

Um, the TV station should find someone who knows what they’re saying. “Supposedly committing the crime together”? The word she was searching for, and couldn’t find, is “allegedly”.
Good for Mr. Kochanski. Maybe he should should put up silhouettes of a guy with a gun, with a red X across the silhouette.

I’m seeing more and more Texas Attitude Shift. I LOVE IT. Ain’t gonna be no more “alleged”.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the court, prosecutor, grand jury, judge, DA, etc.

@5 “I’m seeing more and more Texas Attitude Shift.”

Kind of a red neck, white socks and Blue Ribbon beer sort of thing?

Yep! Gettin’ away from all that academic PCness, and back to home grassroots justice. Like it.

I think Ranger Up needs to change the name of The Damn Bar, to Concertina Bar, out of respect 🙂
