Tuesday feel good story

| August 13, 2013

Editor’s Note: This story seems to have been a case of a false report by someone with mental issues.

Police said after further investigation they learned the resident suffers from mental health issues. There was never an intruder or shots fired.

The resident was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

John sends us a link hot off the press to get your feel good on tonight from Irving, TX. It’s brief, but it has all of the important elements;

Irving Police have been called to a home where a suspect has been shot after an apparent home invasion.

The initial call indicated that a resident had shot the intruder inside the home, located at 2126 Cochran Street, near Rochelle and Story Roads.

What else do you need?

This line has been added to the story. “A spokesperson for the Irving Fire Department says no one has been transported from the home.”. Perhaps they are waiting for the Coroner to arrive so they can remove the body. That would make the story happier for me.

“What else do you need?”

How about ”Intruder pronounced dead at the scene.”

But who was turning their life around? 😉

Hondo

FC2 Dewclaw: seems to me the resident turned this other guy’s life around for him . . . apparently permanently.

Another yut who’s had his life turned around for him (apparently he wasn’t able to do it on his own-some). Hopefully, his life has been turned around permanently.
Waiting further news information.

It’s Texas, you stupid crooks. There are very few homes without FIREARMS and law abiding people who will use the firearms. Yutes, Texas has the Castle law. LOEs encourage carry in condition one carry(cocked and locked). I had my butt chewed for not having my M&P in C1. Joe

Dang, I pulled the trigger too early on this one in an attempt to beat Chief Tango to the punch! Latest report is that the homeowner made it up. He has apparently been taken to a mental facility. So, there goes my reporting credibility. Guess I qualify for employment at CNN?

Don’t feel too bad. You and a lot of other people were fooled as well. That’s why it’s always “more news on further information”.

Oh hell! I don’t feel to bad about being taken in on this one. I’m sure that somewhere today a goblin met his maker at the hands of some innocent homeowner. As long as these folks keep being stupid criminals they will continue to get what they deserve.
