Re-Creation
Blanka sends us this photo from Castle Point, NY Veterans’ hospital where the group Re-Creation is entertaining veterans;
I think we’ve written about Re-Creation before, but there’s a short video about them at this link. Basically, they’re volunteers who travel the country to entertain at Veterans’ hospitals. In fact, the last time we wrote about them, it was when they were ripped off while on tour last year or so.

I’ll be doing my bit tomorrow. Wounded Warrior Project volunteers will be doing yard work (weed pulling, prepping the yard for spring, etc) at a wounded vet’s home.
Sometimes the smallest of gestures mean the most.
And all this time I thought nothing good ever came out of Chicago!
