The Losing Left is Beneath Contempt
The little, liberal, gun-grabbing weasels are running scared. Here’s a copy of a MoveOn.org email a friend forwarded to me:
Dear MoveOn member,
This is the nightmare scenario:
“Reid guts Senate gun control bill.”1
“Tuesday’s developments are a major win for the powerful National Rifle Association.”2
“[Assault weapons] ban’s chances of survival now are all but hopeless.”3
“[A]nother major element of the president’s gun policy proposal could be joining the assault weapons ban in the scrap heap.”4
After months of promises that, in the wake of Newtown, this time would be different, congressional Democrats, led by Majority Leader Harry Reid, are on the verge of caving on the three most critical gun violence prevention proposals: universal background checks, a ban on assault weapons, and a ban on high-capacity magazines.
What’s looking most likely to end up in the final bill? A provision encouraging guns in schools. (Emphasis theirs)
You just have to love it when the leftist fringe like MoveOn is wetting their pants because their big gun-grabbing opportunity, built on the graves of those poor child victims at Sandy Hook, has vanished into thin, Washington D.C. air, gaining them nothing. These people are beyond the point of ever being shamed by their ghoulish willingness to use the deaths of innocent children to further their left-wing causes. And of course the primary purpose of the email was to solicit donations.
The term, “Beneath contempt,” comes to mind.

I’m not sure I agree with that. Dirty tricks are leftists favorite tactics.
Oops, sorry about that. Should have included “So, it’s not the time to let our guard down”.
This will cause them to elect ever more virulent liberals into office.

Leftist slime like Feinschwein, Reid, Pelosi, et al. are well-known for their “back room deals”, and they’ll try to foist it on us in some other way, likely via bureaucracy, or they’ll slip it in as a rider on some other bill that gets passed in the middle of the night! Liberals never cease to crusade against Freedom and Liberty.

Well there it is, they had to write the letter the way they did because the alternative makes no money.
They could not for instance write: “We need your money to enact a law that will actually do nothing at all to stop these horrific mass killings, but will allow us to trample all over the God given rights of a free people as outlined by our founding fathers. We will start with the second amendment because we feel it’s the most vulnerable at the moment, and then we will continue our assault on the first amendment to silence our opposition. Ultimately the nation will be left without a Bill of Rights if you keep donating to us so we can advance our agenda.”
That would probably keep donors from sending very much money.
A feral dog might be afraid of you and run if you have a big stick. However it will circle around you and bite you in the ass.

See, now they’re starting to whine, because everything is NOT going their way. They’re pissing off so many people that things may move to the right side of the fence.

“Beneath contempt” really does only begin the describe the negative aura which surrounds these clowns! But, it is a term which can safely be used in polite society.
They do all rather remind me of pond scum.
Almost makes you believe the entire exercise was ginned up to get the flamers to cough up more dough and sign up to be GOTV activists, even become upset enough to volunteer to be paid to vote several times.

Can’t recall where I heard this but, as I understood it there are like five actual office staff that work at moveon and its associated offshoots Dem Now, ANSWER, the anti-war groups and share the same physical addy.
I got one of those too but sent it to the bin. Screeching and screaming, like it API. There is hope for you yet youngster! lol!
