With friends like Bite Me, who needs enemies?

| February 22, 2013

CBS News reports that Joe Bite Me’s delusion is so deep that he thinks that somehow he’s a friend of gun owners. During a political rally near the site of the Newtown murders, he told the assemblage;

“Common sense facts are these assault weapons are unnecessary and dangerous weapons that put our law enforcement personnel at risk,” Biden said. “You guys know a lot of departments around the country. I’ve been working with the police agencies for 35 years. I am going to say something outrageous: You’ve had no better friend over the last 35 years than me.

Yeah, it is outrageous, Joe. You voted for the first scary-looking black gun ban, got spanked in the mid-term elections, and you’re back for another round. And then you have the gall to tell women that they should be randomly firing off double-barreled shotguns in their yards to scare away criminals like they’re a flock of crows in the corn. If that’s not irresponsible gun ownership, I don’t know what is. You’re a real buddy, Joe.

By the way, I remember being told by the Left that I shouldn’t politicize the Newtown shootings in the hours after the murders. But, I’ve noticed that gun grabbers have done nothing but politicize the tragedy. Is that all part of this “national discussion” we’re supposed to be having wherein one side gets to say whatever it wants while the other side should just shut up? That’s not a discussion – it’s being dictated to.

But, yeah, keep sending Bite Me out as the face of gun control, it makes you look so smart and concerned.

I seriously thing somebody ought to check him. He’s probably had a stroke.

He would make a textbook case for non-voluntary commitment. Don’t just violate the second amendment, make a mockery of it and use it for toilet paper.

The Dead Man

What was that line in Animal House, “Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life?”

B Woodman

I am constantly hearing politicians and liberal activists using the phrase “commonsense” when applied to a freedom-grabbing law.

They keep using that word. I do not think it means what they think it means.

Just think, one heart beat away…. as scary as shit is with the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania, can you imagine a Biden Presidency?? The guys elevator stopped leaving the basement a long time ago. Between him and some of the other loons currently residing in Congress it makes you wonder about the overall sanity of the American people. These are the people we vote for to represent us??
and the loons are on both sides of the aisle…Though it seem the dems have a few more in their corner.

Is all part of the “new civility” the MIC talked of in his first term, and before the *official* campaign where MIC told a flock of his adoring Obamabots “Get in their face. They bring a knife. You bring a gun” or something like that…..

NR Pax

Joe, let’s start with consistently enforcing existing laws. That’s the only common sense you need to bring to the discussion. Now here’s a coloring book. Sit in the corner with it and don’t hurt anyone.

The more da veep runs his mouth, the stupider he looks and sounds. The stupider he looks and sounds, the higher the possibility he’ll spout something really embarrassing to da prez.

I’m waiting for the day when he truly puts both feet so far down his own throat that they come straight out of his anal orifice.

Remember: once you say and do something stupid, it gets on the internet and not matter how much you want to take it back, it’s there forever.

UpNorth

@8, True, Ex, but when he does say something stupid, his friends in the media fail to say anything, or tell us that we didn’t see and hear what we saw and heard.
And, as last November proved, there are enough low information people out there that only get their news from CNN, MBSNBC and Comedy Central, so they won’t believe it if they do see and hear it.

Today’s Chronicle has an aricle that shows how the gun grabbers are having “fact finding” sessions in various states, but of course excluding gun owners and supporters. http://www.chron.com/news/politics/article/In-Connecticut-Biden-urges-action-on-gun-control-4295917.php is a truncated version of the article.

Jonn-that Washington state legislator you wrote about the other day, the one who made a “mistake’ by inserting into his proposed bill language that would run all over the 4th amendment by allowing the local sheriff to come into your house once a year to inspect your firearms. Yeah, it turns out that this is not the first time he has inserted that exact same language in bills he has proposed-(link via Ace) http://threesurethingsoflife.wordpress.com/2013/02/19/scratch-a-proggie-find-a-tyrant/

They don’t respect the Constitution or any concept of limited government power. Every so often the mask slips, and we should never accept their explanations at face value.

@9. How many months did we have to hear that Vice President Dan Quail misspelled potato? How often (daily?) did we hear that President George W. Bush was an ignoramus because he mispronounced nuclear? It’s sickening.

Ex-PH2

@9 — I know there’s an epidemic of short-term memory loss in the media and general population of people so quaintly labeled as libtards, but even they have their limits in regard to swallowing BS.

I do feel that as long as Joe the Drunk Uncle is allowed to run his mouth, more and more of his unmitigated crap will show up in the various media streams, from the internet and blogs to news media like newspapers and magazines until he becomes a complete embarrassment to the administration and they have to find a way to shut him up.

By then, the damage will have long since been done and Dan Quayle’s silly remarks and GWBush’s colloquial mispronunciation of a common word will pale by comparison.

I think letting Bite-Me go on with his driveling is priceless, collectible, and ripe for satire.

This is the same guy who has the chutzpah to tell gun owners HE’S been their best friend for decades.

With friends like him…

David

have a Democrat friend who claims to be conservative, who besides advocating gun control also advocates censorship of anyone whose views aren’t shared by at least .5-1% of the populace. So unless 2-3,000,000 or so are not demonstrably with you, the government would have the right to gag you.

Redacted1775

If this is drunkle joe sober, I can’t imagine how ridiculous he is when he’s actually drunk.

Hondo

David: sadly, under your friend’s criteria Gordon Duff and his loony, antisemitic pals at “Veterans Today” would be in no danger of being censored.

They shouldn’t be, of course. Idiocy exposed is the best policy.
