Joe Biden the Democrats’ head troll
About 250 of you spent 90 minutes with us last night as we posted our reaction to the Vice Presidential debate last night. That’s why many of you couldn’t get in. I never thought that many people would want to play with us. I’ll know better next time.
But, I predicted in the first five minutes of the debate that Bite-Me lost on style alone. Mr Hanson says he lost on content as well. But I’ve spent the morning going through the reviews of the debate and I’m really surprised at the number of people who thought Biden did a commendable job.
But this is from a culture who thinks that trolling opinion blogs is an acceptable and successful way to change people’s minds on issues. I’m sure some of our trolls were applauding loudly at Bite-Me’s performance last night while he used their tactics to swing (and miss) at his ideological opponent.
Of course, if Ryan had taken up some of Bite-Me’s less than civilized strategies, today they’d be calling “foul”.
I hardly blame Biden, though. It was his parents’ fault for telling him he was smart and for not teaching him to sit and be quiet when others are speaking. It is his fault that he had nothing of substance to point to as successful in the first four years of his administration.
The Afghanistan War was the Obama Administration’s war to lose and they did. In fact, they’ve done everything they could possible do to lose, and it’s worked so well, in that regard. And it’s all Biden – it was his idea to rely on robot ninja zombies instead of troops on the ground. Since Joe Biden has been absolutely wrong on every single foreign policy issue since he went to Congress, I don’t know why anyone is surprised that it’s worked out like that.
Bite-Me has never known what he’s talking about. That why he had to plagiarize his work in college and make public pronouncements about how smart he is – again it’s that trollish behavior that his supporters like so much. So the Democrat Party is the party of trolls, and Joe Bite-Me lives under the best bridge in their world.
Category: 2012 election, Barack Obama/Joe Biden, Liberals suck
Where is that well deserved throat punch?!?!?!
His demeanor and performance alone show how unfit he is to hold high office. He is an utter joke and disgrace.
“…it was his idea to rely on robot ninja zombies instead of troops on the ground.”
Yep. Absolutely wrong for the nation building COIN campaign that against a rural insurgency that we shouldn’t be engaged in.
A bit better suited for a CT campaign against al Qaeda that we should be engaged in.
My wife, a died in the wool democrat, watched the debate last night and was absolutely pissed at his disrespectful demeanor. I fell asleep and awoke this morning to find that she had ‘liked’ Paul Ryan page on Facebook.
Joe Biden, getting people to vote conservative one democrat at a time.
It was only the VP debate in order for to have any effect on the election it would have had to have been a slam dunk for Biden. As it was I doubt too many people changed their minds either way.
There were several things that were blatant mistakes on Joey’s part.
He said “I was there! I voted against that!” in reference to his vote on sending troops to Iraq and Afghanistan. His record shows otherwise: he voted ‘yes’ on both of those issues.
He said that Syria is five times larger than Libya. Has he even looked at a map lately? Has he ever looked at a map? Libya is five times larger than Syria. He completely ignored the efforts of the Turks to support the Syrian refugees who have been pouring into Turkey for several months now.
Not once did he acknowledge the simple fact that Turkey is a US-friendly nation in Asia Minor. Istanbul sits smack dab on the straits leading into the Black Sea, an extremely important shipping route for the Russians if they want access to the Med. Nor did he even reference what the Turkish government has done, on its own, to prevent shipment of weapons to the Middle East from Russia. We need to be coddling the Turks big time, not ignoring them.
And then there was my personal favorite: fluffing numbers. He used the number $800 million billion when discussing budget matters. That works out to eight hundred quadrillion dollars.
In a live, on-camera setting, he appeared contemptuous, dismissive, smug, a bit smarmy and uniformed. Aside from stuttering, stumbling, and getting things wrong, I found those mistakes disturbing.
Or maybe it’s short-term memory loss, if he can’t actually remember how he voted . Not a good sign.
Dude Biden has flown over Iraq and Afghanistan 20 times that practically makes us Bros! Hell I might just invite him over to my house let him…
@6 He knows how he voted, he’s just another lying politician who can’t be bothered with actual facts. He likes you to know he is smarter than you, so his current words are the facts he uses today, even when those current words are lies. He is an arrogant, undereducated boob pretending to be an intellectual.
Well, I know quite a few intellectuals and I assure you, Joe Biden’s no intellectual.
I did enjoy the chat thing. Thanks Jonn, and I hope it wasn’t toooo much of a PITA.
Since I’ve been fully prepared to vote for ‘Anybody But Obama’ for some time the debates and other political machinations really hold little interest for me.
The chat exercise last night was a fun diversion indeed.
Who needs to follow the pundits and talking heads when THIS bunch is in action?
Again thanks.
@8VOV, I have a deck of playing cards, with jokers, that is smarter than Joe Biden. In fact, the jokers are smarter than he is.
I couldn’t watch the whole thing, I was screaming at the TV. His lies about the Benghazi attack make my blood boil.
Jack Nicholson can play crazy Joe in the made for TV movie. He’s older and crazier than he was when he portrayed The Joker in Batman from 1989. There’ll be no difference.
Could there have been a better example to use to train children how NOT to act? It was embarrassing. And most disgusting.
In case there is anyone reading this from some other society – please know that what Joe Biden displayed last night is not considered acceptable behavior by most Americans.
Has anyone heard from our Master Chief ? I do not think he made it to end of the live chat. Also, how is everybody’s head. The way biteme was going, everybody should be passed out. Or, nursing the worst hangover of their life. Joe
Good old crazy Uncle Joey Plugs, he always manages to live down to expectations.
And, Ex, Joey probably thinks that the Dardanelles is a coffee shop, next to his favorite 7-11.
@14 – Joe, I stuck to Diet Coke and popcorn, but my ears are still ringing from the fooferalls by the Bidener.
UpNorth — good one. Yeah, I have sweaters with a higher IQ.
I know we don’t like polls much but looks like Romney’s starting to pull ahead in some polls, leading in Florida and New Hampshire.
Still anything can happen between now and November 7th. Still have to more meetings between Obama and Romney.
But I wonder if the first Obama/Romney debate won’t be Obama’s “Nixon” moment.
This is from an article in today’s news:
‘…the Obama campaign’s deputy manager, Stephanie Cutter, also invited Republican attacks — including an indirect reference from Ryan during last night’s debate — for telling CNN that Romney and Ryan were to blame for turning the Libya incident into a political hot potato.’
Hot potato? They (Obama/Biden) brought this on themselves! For Pete’s sake! How much denial are they wallowing in?
I think they’re out of their teeny-weeny minds.
Throat Punch indeed!
Stephanie Cutter is disgusting – she blatantly lied about her affiliation to Mr. Soptic (you know Mitt was the cause of his wife death). Then trying to pin Romney/Ryan to the Benghazi fiasco becoming political – I think she is hated by even Democrats. What a repulsive creature – she has the most evil smirk…
Nice work last night. There are more than a few hangovers, based on the live comments. I could take the Vice Moron only so long…Kudos to those of you who stomached the entire installment of Mighty Joe Dung.
Funny how only Republicans are said to attack opponents. Democrats are described as fiesty, strong in rebattal, and bold.
Dammit. rebuttal not rebattle
AirCav, take a day off and get over your hangover.
Next customer! 🙂
LOL, AirCav, “Mighty Joe Dung”. I was on my last cup of coffee, after supper.
Joe sure wasn’t showing the good leadership traits. No bearing, no tact, no integrity. I actually called john Gibson to complain.
Looks like biteme has passed the shovel to Carney. Keep diggin gents.
Carney is a triage guy. He’s told which of The Moron’s idiotic statements are most damaging to the administration and starts there with his clarifications, restatements, and so on. We are all stupid. We can’t possibly understand something we hear for ourselves.
Now, Joey WonderPlug, he’s a different story. As I commented last night on the live chant thingamajig, Joey would need to read his quotes in the paper today to learn what he said and, I might add, listen to Carney to understand what he meant by what he said.
I’ve seen people criticize Biden for his grinning. Considering it was Biden, I think he had just made boom-boom in his pants and was proud of that fact.
Later, when he stopped grinning, it was because nobody had changed him yet, and it was starting to get uncomfortable.
Ryan’s constant sipping of water? He was trying to suppress his gag reflex.
Josef Bin Biden fired up the base and might have won on rhetoric, but so what? Ryan did a commendable job and didn’t act like a clown – he came across as more serious and dignified, more ready to take up the mantle of the Presidency if called. Ryan was very cognizant that this is about the top of the ticket and he set up the plate nicely for the Gubna against the stuttering, stammering uh um empty chair.
Hey, Josef Bin Biden must have spent some time w/ this Secret Service Agent passed out on streets of Miami:
http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/10/12/secret-service-agent-found-passed-out-later-arrested-in-miami/
Within minutes of the debate ending the WH spin on Biden (laughing and rude behavior) was, “he is a happy warrior of the middle class.”
Josef Bin Biden is unstable, maybe crazy – anybody want him near the “football” w/ launch code authorization? I mean anybody except the moonbats.
Awww… Did poor little Ryan get his little fee fees hurt by the big mean man laughing at him? Call the Whambulance. And your deep heart-felt cries for civility would be somewhat convincing if you had complained about Rommey calling President Obama a little boy or if you ever complained about your members frequent references to President Obama as an “Affirmative Action” President, Foreign or a thug. Oh and not calling VP Biden, Bite me, might help, Lieyar. It’s amazing the definition held for what is rude. I consider lying to me and to the American people rude. I consider Biden laughing at Ryan lying his ass off to be fairly normal. But this column does illustrate the vast difference between Conservatives and liberals. Liberals will admit that President Obama did not have his best night in the first debate. Conservatives will deny the thorough ass-kicking that Ryan received at the hands of this VP. Let’s review: This is the THIRD excuse that Ryan has given for not naming any loopholes he’d cut to make the magic tax plan work out. The first excuse he gave was that he needed to be elected first in order to see the lay of the land. The second excuse was that he just had no time to do it. Now his third excuse was that he wants to be bipartisan. This is the same mother fucker that attended a meeting and sat on his hands as McConnell and company worked out a policy of total obstruction the day President Obama got anaugurated . NOW he wants to be bi-partisan? NOW?!? Mmmm. Fuck off, pee wee. 2. He admitted that he actually asked for that evil stimulus cash. 3. He admitted that he wants to take away a woman’s right to choose. I can understand the need for denial, it was beginning to look like you had a chance for a while. But really, how you can look upon this as anything but a disaster is beyond me. The fact that he had to get his MOMMY to stand up for him after the… Read more »
Sorry, grabbing the popcorn…
Not sure if insipid flipped his lid like every other lib in panic mode, but his post seems to be a bit scatterbrained. It’s ok though, continue to panic. It’s amusing.
Sippy!!! Does your mom know you got out of your closet? How many times were you dropped on your head as a baby? Obiden looked looked like a stumbling, bumbling fool. He was rude and crude, completely disrespectful. It’s been said Obiden’s performance was “beneath the dignity of the office of the Vice President”. What should one expect from a person with no dignity.
It looks like the TAH Tea Party is upset that Ryan wasn’t able to do the “Gish Gallop” as well as R-money. Just like tax cuts are the answer to everything, you guys claim victory regardless of the outcome. So Biden was rude, but Mitt’s talking over Lehrer and the president was ok?
http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2012/10/12/1002021/at-the-vice-presidential-debate-ryan-told-24-myths-in-40-minutes/
Sure, Ryan “won” last night if you count the number of lies he told…
Ah yes…the trolls trotting in with the “he lied” bit again.
Physician, heal thyself. Sippy, sad to say, your case of the dumbass is terminal.
@40… Ooooh, “thinkprogress”…now there’s an unbiased source!
Moron.
While it may not be a scientific survey, I know some diehard Dems and previously uncommitted voters who decided to vote for Romney/Ryan based upon Biden’s rudeness Thursday evening. Don’t know anyone who decided to vote for the current occupiers based upon that performance.
That sounds like a win for Romney/Ryan. You know, actually gaining votes instead of running voters away from you.
I try to abstain from kicking in on sippy’s comments, but when the veep says “Syria is five times larger than Libya”, among other things, don’t you think it’s a good idea to check the map and SEE FOR YOURSELF THAT HE’S WRONG?????
When you do some of the things that Joe B. did on live TV because you think you’re off camera, act like you don’t take the whole thing seriously, argue with the moderator, fluff numbers and simple stuff like Syria/Libya, and completely ignore a major US ally (Turkey) in the Middle East, you’re either not prepared for a major debate, or you’re not taking it seriously.
There is nothing more likely to give you a loss in any kind of competition than being cocky about winning.
“I consider lying to me and to the American people rude”
So you agree that Mr. I didn’t vote for the war in Iraq when in fact I did was rude?
