What I said last time…
The last time the Giants beat the Patriots, I wrote this and it still stands. Although I did cheat last night and watched the second quarter to give TSO’s Patriots a chance. But just by watching that quarter, it looked to me that the Giants intended to win and the Patriots were there for the free Gatorade.
I changed the station before that old hag (three years younger than me) started parading around the half-time show. I see she doesn’t keep her balance so well anymore.
Just a warning for the next time, though, the Giants have only ever lost one Superbowl game. So there’s that.

Well, I think it was karma playing a cruel joke on Brady. If the media hadn’t made the days leading up to the game “the Tom Brady show”, I might have felt a little bad for the Pats, but since all you heard about was Brady this and Brady that for the last 2 weeks, I was kinda glad the Pats lost, so we wouldn’t have to hear about how Tom Brady walks on water, helps the blind to see, and raises the dead. I’m really glad the Packers didn’t make it to the big show, also, otherwise it would have been “the Aaron Rogers” show instead of Tom Brady.
I got all my Pats hatred gloating out last night, so I won’t rub too much salt in the wound.
I was one of 5 Giants fans at a party…there sure were some belligerent Pats fans. My mindset is that it ain’t over until it’s over. And patience paid off. Manningham shoulda won MVP!(Go Blue!)
Meh, good game, and it ended the way it’s supposed to, the team with the most points won.
I’ll go with that, UpNorth.
TSO–when you get to the interview to be Tom’s poolboy/crying shoulder, do NOT, under ANY circumstances, make any mention of Gisele’s comments. Tom is NEVER to blame for anything that happens in a Pat’s loss–not the throwing out of the pocket to NOBODY, not the 3-4 knockdowns by flatfooted midgets on the line, and ESPECIALLY not the interception in the fourth quarter.
Just don’t do it, man!
And the Niners have only ever lost no Super Bowl games – what’s your point?
