US restarts drone program in Pakistan

| January 11, 2012

The Washington Times reports that the Obama Administration has tentatively restarted their practice of using drones to help jihadists fulfill their wishes to meet Allah sending four to the arms of their prophet yesterday.

Drone attacks were suspended after two dozen Pakistani soldiers were killed by a drone strike on their outpost last November.

American officials say there had been no promise by Washington that drone operations would be avoided since the deadly airstrikes, but that the lull was part of a broad effort to tamp down tensions with Pakistan. While there has long been some level of agreement by Pakistan over the drone attacks, their scope and frequency has been a source of friction between the two countries.

Since the Obama Administration and particularly Vice President Bite Me thinks that drones will win the war against terror, it’s nice that they’ve restarted the robot ninja zombie program, since the reduced number of troops is supposed to be augmented by technology instead of actual war-fighting capability.

However, I have no confidence that drones will actually win the war in dribs and drabs of deaths of our enemy’s leaders. It’s a tactic, not a strategy…but that’s what you get when you have an administration more concerned with political appearances and 10-second sound bites than beating our enemies. Sound bites like this one from our president at a fund-raising even the other night;

And change is keeping one of the first promises I made in 2008 — ending the war in Iraq and bringing our troops home. (Applause.) The war is over and our troops are home. And instead, we refocused our efforts on the terrorists who actually attacked us on 9/11. And thanks to our brave men and women in uniform, al Qaeda is weaker than it’s ever been, and Osama bin Laden will never again walk the face of this Earth. That’s what change is. (Applause.)

The war is over and the troops are home – which matters more during the election this year than actually winning a war.

The troops may be home but the war is far from over. He lies.

In other words “Thanks for wasting your blood, sweat, and tears in Iraq dumbasses.” MF

Just more of the “if you don’t study and do well” mantra started by Jawn F’ing Kerry. Embellished and updated for 2012.

Wars Over. We’re still fighting. Funny how that works

A foul & nauseating statement by the President.
