I unfortunately have some horrible news. If things weren’t bad enough for the family, Bill got a phone call from the westboro baptist church. They are the idiots who protest military funerals. The caller told Bill that it was the best day of their life when his son was killed, and it’s an even better day that they lost everything in the fire. They were all cheering in the phone. What *%!)&~# ! How can they call themselves a church? I won’t say what I think should be done with all of them, but I’m sure you agree.

I’d be rather pleased to NOT see something bad happen to these bastards.
First thing is, the Uzenski’s need to file a complaint with the Gallatin County Attorney’s Office. The owner of the telephone number the call was received on needs to complain to the telephone company. As long as the calling party was dumb enough to use a hard line telephone it’ll be easy for the GCSO to find out where the call came from. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least that it originated from within the Bozeman LATA (Local Access and Transport Area) exchange….the number, location and time of call are logged and shouldn’t matter that it was made from a cellphone because all telephone calls dialed still have to go through the LATA…

They should definitely file a complaint and document this and any subsequent call. I’m not sure about the state law there but I assume there’s something about harassment that they can use to get a restraining order and get law enforcement involved when/if WBC violates it.

I’m thinking that while I’m not a Patriot Guard Rider, I’d be more than happy to plunk down $15K or so for a scooter and get a nice, long, LOUD line of Patriot Guard Riders to chug a few pitchers the last mile to Phelps’ gravesite and practice a little recycling. Be funny as hell to watch that skank Shirley Phelps-Roper try to do something about it.

At the risk of being flamed…are we sure that this was Phelps and co? Mind you, they are repugnant wastes of sperm cells and what they do is abhorrent. But they have always stayed within the law and let people attack them instead. I think that this may be a random person with a sick sense of humor.
That being said, when Fred goes the way of all flesh, I’ll be contributing to the keg fund.

Don’t get me wrong NHSparky; I’m not trying to be sympathetic. But as I said, they have always stayed legal with their protests and the idea that they would be calling someone and harassing them that way is out of character.
Mind you, I’ll recant my statements if it turns out that they did make the phone call.
A single rude ophone call is usually not a criminal act, in most states, depending upon the message transmitted. With all the lawyers this crew has in the family (plus their supporters in various states) they are more than capable of walking right up to the line of criminal activity without going over it. It’s what they do.
thank you all for your support of the Uzenski family. Rebekah is my sister and they have had to endure some terrible tragadies with the lose of their son, the fire that destroyed their home and the harassment of these idiots. Please continue to support Rebekah and Bill and the kids in anyway you can and continue to keep them in your prayers. Thank you and God Bless.
