The difference

| October 16, 2011

I got asked this today.

You personally have said in the past you hated the bailouts, etc. What’s the problem here (with the Occupy movement)?

Well besides the face that the actions of these protesters are causing problems for the the same people that the Occupy movement claims to be action on behalf of? That would have to be how you handle yourself when addressing a grievance. Lets take Chase Bank for example.

I would like to present Capt. Jonathon Rowles and how he challenged Chase Bank over home loans and related interest rates. He did this in a professional mater that his cause was taken seriously. When you are taken seriously people listen to you. It may not be flashy but itworks.

What does not work is dressing up like Robbin Hood and Vikings to a “Raid” the corporate office. Nor is trying to make a makeshift bridge to cross the “Moat” at said office. Then you wonder why people call yourself drama queens and worse.

Point well said. A lot of this is about respect! Dramatics tends to backfire and really what is the point of such a demonstration? Have the come up with a sound fiscal policy? Or perhaps they propose some counter point? No its all “this is bad this is wrong”

There is a significant difference between airing of legit grievances and just throwing a fucking temper tantrum because you don’t like what’s going on.

Guess which one OWS falls under.

The problem these dolts have is that they never passed reading comprehension. Then, they pass their false tail down through generations with an incorrect narrative attached and you end up with morons dressed as Robin Hood.

If they would have bothered reading the story, they would know that Robin Hood stole from the King (government) and gave back to the people/subjects (citizens). In fact, Robin Hood would have more to do with the founders of this country and the Tea Party than he would with the chuckleheads in the occupy movement (that whole taxes thingy).

Well, this does make for good street theatre. Perhaps they sing themselves to sleep with cowboy poetry, too.

I would normally ask why these assclowns aren’t using the normal means of communicating grievance to their banks and other businesses. Normally, but since the bankers and businessmen of Wall Street have paid for these protests in order to convince America that they need another stimulus (using our tax dollars, of course), I say f*ck ’em and let’s see who wins this urinary altercation. Minions versus their paymasters.

Eventually, the paymasters will run out of our money.
