Who dares…break into a van full of SAS soldiers?

TEENAGE thieves targeting vans parked on a council estate forced open the doors of one – and were confronted by four SAS men on a stakeout.

Two of the Who Dares Wins heroes stayed put while the other two chased the panic-stricken tearaways and gave them “a bit of a slap”.

Shouldn’t have been too hard to track down. I’ll bet they left a bit a smelly trail?

Back in 1990, the Coast Guard conducted a military exercise in New York Harbor and it was gamed as a darkened sailing vessel smuggling weapons in the city.

As part of the exercise, there were three large cutters in the Narrows when a darkened sailing ship approached the upper harbor. After identifying the possible tango, the three cutters positioned quietly and then dramatically turned on all of their lights and began the boarding exercise.

Turned out the sailing vessel was not part of the exercise, but they were in reality smuggling a few dozen bails of marijuana.

“Bit of a slap”? From the SAS? BWAH-hahahahaha-heeheehee!! Hoo-boy.

Given the nature of the famous British understatement, that “bit of a slap” probably put the thugs in the hospital.
