Inaction has consequences, too
UK’s Daily Telegraph reports that Iran is buying yellowcake uranium from the nearly failed state of Zimbabwe run by communist thug Robert Mugabe. The European community has taken half-measures to combat the human rights abuses in both countries and now they’ve helped to create a nuclear Islamic terror state in Iran.
A leaked intelligence report suggests Iran will be awarded with exclusive access to Zimbabwe’s uranium in return for providing the country with fuel.
The report – compiled by the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog – said Iran’s Foreign and Co-operative Ministers had visited Zimbabwe to strike a deal, and sent engineers to assess uranium deposits.
Experts say the move contradicts Iran’s claim that it now has enough domestic uranium supplies to sustain its nuclear energy ambitions. They say Zimbabwe’s defiance of sanctions and its support for the pariah state will scare those considering investing in its economy, which is only just starting to recover after years of hyperinflation.
The 87-year-old Mugabe clings to his own poer by thuggery. A man in Zimbabwe recently was arrested for posting his personal opinion on Facebook in regards to the riots in Egypt and Libya.
So while the UN and Europeans twiddle their thumbs and wring their hands, the world becomes a more dangerous place.
For all of the blather from the Left over the years about the US being the greatest terrorist nation, they sure are quiet about the folks who present a real threat.

Well, we know the US won’t do anything about it as the last time this topic came up about ‘yellowcake’ and the Middle East, poor poor Valerie Plame’s life was ruined forever, right?!?
Imagine a plane, on fire and hurtling towards the ground. The passengers are all screaming for all their worth. Over the PA comes this announcement:
“Ladies and Gentlemen, you are well and truly F**ked. As the plane is plummeting in flames, please place your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. We’d like to thank you for choosing air Progressive Air, and hope you follow us again some time.”
After the crash it will be found that improper maintenance was done. The mechanics will be incompetent, and the supervisors did not supervise because they “didn’t want to hurt their feelings”. The parts it will found come from a hyper expensive “Green” plant that combines poor construction methods with unskilled labor to produce products that are not only substandard but criminally so (despite costing twice as much). All this will found to be irrelevant because the Biodesiel fueling the plane was never meant to be put on planes in the first place. Blame will then be put on the pilot (who in a panic tried to do the only thing that seemed sensible) because he’s White, and some of his passengers were minorities. Someone will suggest it should be mandatory that EVERYONE be trained as pilots. All the while more planes come crashing from the sky, and all the flaws exposed will have to be debated endlessly because they COULDN’T POSSIBLY be wrong. Especially because Progressive Air is so. . .Progressive.
I use metaphor here. But you get my point. It will purely suck to be a passenger on this plane.
