BTW Yep I left my weapon at a Clearing barrel INSIDE the camp and turned around 5 min later to go get it……Hey that what happens when you’re running a PLATOON in 120 Degree heat with 80% humidify for 12 hours straight.
I set my weapon down to check 30+ men’s chambers……and I was so worried about my own men it slipped my mind that I left it there. I jumped in the truck did a radio check with the Sherriff net and drove on looking in the back of the truck and asking the 4 men who were with me if they had all their gear.
I lived and learned always have someone check you too even of you are a leader was the lesson. And I’ve done it ever since.
And FYI that’s the ONLY thing I have EVER messed up in my military career for 11 YRS of Service. All that other Hogwash is just that Hogwash. We all make mistakes as we are only human. So what do you have left to shoot…..as your all out of bullets.

Wrong as well…..I was Never Kicked out of my company. A position became available in the AFRCOM HQ where they needed a Competent E6 to run the Leason Portion of the J37 (As you do not get this important position being a shitbag). I worked coordinating all land maneuvers and as a direct leason between USF JOC, DJ forces, and the 3rd French Foreign legion. But if you know so much about me…..you would have already known that?

My guess is that, at the Article 15 or Article 32 hearing, the CO isn’t going to care too much about what someone said to Richter, but is going to be very interested in what Richter said to others.
I would think that part where he pretended to be a named SSG might have the COs interest.

I’m a former colleague of Richter’s. He told me check this place out. I’m not here to comment on the scrap between you guys, but I am here to comment on Crawford trying to act like he’s anything less than a walking casatrophe. I know that just about everything Richter said about him is true. Not too sure about the knife fight in the brothel, but hey I wouldn’t be shocked. Crawford is the phoniest soldier I’ve ever met. If he wasn’t in the army he would have popped up on this site a long time ago. He is a compulsive liar who has managed to slip through the cracks enough to make it to E-6.

I respect the fact that you’ve posted in a civil manner but let’s be honest. This thread was not about SSG Crawford until Richter attempted to pass himself off as Crawford. Had it not been for Richter (and Houser) making repeated posts playing up their “cib”, denigrating the service of others, and making personal attacks against him I’d probably have never heard of the Staff Sergeant.
I will say this, I could care less what others think of him. I’ve heard horror stories of this or that Soldier in the past that proved themselves to be more personal than professional. If and when I serve in the same unit as Crawford I’ll form my own opinion of him.
Jacobite, MSG Spivey and SFC McQuality are both still at Riley and may be found through AKO.
Fair enough Benny, though your concern about comparing awards, ranks, etc. is a gross mischaracterization of what’s really at work on this site. The only time it becomes an issue is when uninvited ‘guests’ stir the waters and kick the sleeping hounds laying around on this cyber porch.
Frankly Ben, even the absolute best soldiers in the US Military have enemies that would say they are worthless. Crawford and his record are secondary to any thing else that’s transpired in the last 280 or so posts on this thread anyway, a distraction from two other far more important topics, outing Woytek and uncovering Richter/Houser as another poser, and now possible criminal. Crawford doesn’t need to be a super soldier to assist in that, all he had to do was exist as an independent identity to discredit Richter/Houser by revealing his/their claim to be him as false. I honestly don’t think anyone here cares that much about Crawford’s record.
The stories about SSG Crawford may or may not be true. I don’t know, I wasn’t there. But what we have seen is that said stories were relayed by someone who falsely claimed to be SSG Crawford. I can deal with a screwed up NCO by determining strengths and weaknesses and playing him to his strengths, even if that means just having him run the chow line and pass out ammo then annotate his NCOER appropriately. I can’t deal with a soldier who is arrogant and has significant integrity issues. You might be an Infantry God, but if I can’t trust you to do the right thing all the time, you are going to destroy my unit, and the soliders around you.
It’s been my experience that after about 50 comments, the discussion descends into something reminiscent of Three Stooges slapstick. I’m shutting down the comments in this thread because of innuendo and baseless accusations about someone who is not even the subject of the post. TAH is the top result for many subjects on Yahoo and Google and I’m not going to have this blog used to destroy an innocent person’s career.
