North Korea fires shots at neighbor

| October 29, 2010

There are very skimpy reports that North Korea has fired two artillery rounds towards it’s neighbor, South Korea. Reports are that South Korea has returned fire.

North Korea has the fifth largest army in the world with a force of 1.2 million men and twenty percent of the working age male population. They have over 17,000 artillery pieces, mostly pointed at the South.

As usual, everyone looks at quantity over quality, when they write stories on military strength. If they did try to come across the border, all you would have to do is dangle a Slim Jim in front of them to disarm them.

ROFLMAO!! Better hope food works.

Fact is, if an all out shooting match ignighted Seoul, as well as other high value targets within the ROK, would literally cease to exist due to artillery fire.

We really, REALLY don’t need Korea going hot right now, not with our attentions focused in the ME.

WMD won’t disappear in THAT part of the world…

Old Trooper,

I was stationed in Korea for the past 5 years and often wondered what would happen when N. Korea invaded and they arrived at the COSTCO just South of Camp Casey.

Jumbo packs of Slim Jims for everyone.
