Now, someone smarter than me, please tell me what in the hell he means by this. I thought what he was saying was that if there was a group that was allegedly made up of veterans, something with a name like say “Vote Vets” that they shouldn’t be endorsing candidates who are not veterans. Anyone else read it that way?

What?! You mean to say that an org with the name strongly implying that you should vote for vets, really means you should vote for any anti-military crapweasels?
Personally, I’d prefer if veterans organizations didn’t endorse candidates period. It is my opinion that VSO’s especially should simply push legislation supporting veterans and stay out of the election market altogether. I only belong to one group right now (DAV) but it does bother me when vet groups (IAVA, VoteVets, VFF, whoever) start pushing one candidate over another. But that’s just my opinion.
