Obama Administration: al Qaeda is racist

| July 14, 2010

Apparently, the Obama Administration thinks that al Qaeda’s whole problem is that they’re racist. This from ABC News’ Jake Tapper;

Speaking about the Uganda bombings, the president said, “What you’ve seen in some of the statements that have been made by these terrorist organizations is that they do not regard African life as valuable in and of itself. They see it as a potential place where you can carry out ideological battles that kill innocents without regard to long-term consequences for their short-term tactical gains.”

Wait. Wait. The explanation of that statement from “an official” of the Obama Administration:

“In short,” the official said, “al Qaeda is a racist organization that treats black Africans like cannon fodder and does not value human life.”

Is there anyone who isn’t racist? That comes from the useless practice of navel-gazing about why terrorists kill us. If the Obama Administration spent as much time killing terrorists as they do explaining to wach other wht they do it, maybe we’d win this thing sooner.

After all, isn’t the fact that they terrorize more serious than the answer to the why?

Actually, I think this is an encouraging sign.

For Obama to say that al-Qaeda is racist is a major step forward. Being racist is basically the worst sin imaginable. No resource is to be spared when battling racism. This leads me to believe that the administration might finally be taking Islamic terrorism seriously.

The fact that they hate America is forgivable, because the adminstration does too. Ditto Isreal. The fact that they kill innocents is forgivable, because in their view, their victims aren’t that innocent after all.

But the fact that they don’t like black people? Well, that settles it. Expect to see nuclear warheads mobilized within the next twenty-four hours.

Ah but see that’s the out. What’s the response to racism? It’s (re)education, diversity traning, hiring quotas, etc.. Maybe all that Al-Qaeda needs is a little EEOC/AA and a U.N. enforced Title IV and behold, no more racism.

I can see the linkage coming, al-Quaeda=racist, Tea Party=racist. Therefore, going along with the NAALCP, the Tea Party is as bad as al-Quaeda. Janet Napolitano would have said so already, but the memo is still in her inbox.

The colors on this site aren’t tan enough…racist.

Obama called AQ racist after killing a few Africans but not when they kill 3000 Americans (regardless of race)?

Hmm…I am beginning to see a pattern.

Oh, but according to Matthis, Obama is a racist too! Obama is as bad as Al Qaeda! Which means, he might just be a secret Muslim after all! Which means right-wing conspiracy theorists were right! Which puts Matthis and Co. in alignment with those same right-wingers! *headpop*
