More Blumenthal; Doug Sterner on CNN

| May 22, 2010

Our buddy, Doug Sterner, was on Rick Sanchez’ CNN show yesterday and apparently his opinion of CT AG Richard Blumenthal is that he purposely lied and hasn’t yet apologized;

Consensus is building. If Connecticut wants a liar formulating policy for them, that’s fine, but the rest of the country isn’t having it. We don’t want yet another phony soldier in the Senate.

Apparently the Dems in CT got around that whole pesky voting thing for him by having him declared their candidate by acclimation.

That means that the whole damned Dem party on CT is tainted by his actions. I think that will end very badly for both them AND their candidate this fall.

Losers. The whole lot of them.

This guy is a “lying weasel” to quote Fred Thompson. I spent my tour of duty in RVN and as far as I am concerned if he had only said it once that would be a misstatement, but having said it several times it makes it an outright lie and all the apologies in the world doesn’t cut it. I was still on active duty when ODS happened and if I were to say I served in ODS would be an outright lie, however I could say I served during ODS. I do not understand the Democrats obsession of trying to impress people that they are strong on national security issues. What also surprises me is the picture of the Marines with him when he tried to explain his way out of it. Aren’t they embarrassed by his statements of having served in RRVN, makes me wonder about them. Just me venting a little, apologies if I offended anyone

I forgot to add to my previous post that this goes to his honesty and integrity. I was taught by my parents that is you screw up admit it, don’t do it again and move on. They also instilled in me that the only answers were yes, no, I don’t know but I will find out…period. People like this just frost my balls. Also, why can;t these reporters just come out and ask the person why they are lying.

He’s a Demo-rat; he’s not lying, it’s a “narrative” that maeks him feel good about himself (of course, everyone else thinks he’s a no-integrity dirtbag, but they’re just hung-up on things like truth and honesty).

Jonn,
You say “Consensus is building.” Which way?
Do the people of CT not care, and this lying weasel will be elected to Congress?
OR will Blumenthal go down in flames, and hopefully also get NiFong’ed (booted out of AG and all past cases looked at to being overturned)?

Woodman–these people would vote for a Klansman if he had a “D” after his name. Seems to me that in a nearby state, they’ve done EXACTLY that. People in CT kept putting Chris Dodd in Congress for how long?

Missiletech

Not to mention I beleive for the past 30 years CT has led the country in the number of politicians going to federal prision but would most likely be re-elected upon release if they tried

Yeah, I thought as much. Just wanted confirmation.
I /We need to make “Yankee Doodle” our theme song.
Or, as it went by it’s old original title, “The World Turned Upside Down”.
